St Anne’s Lagoon

Just a few minutes north from Cheviot it’s the perfect place to stretch your legs. Stroll alongside the tranquil and picturesque lagoon, with its diverse waterfowl and blooming spring flowers.

Cathedral Cliffs

A huge formation of eroded siltstone pillars that now resemble organ pipes. Best seen from a viewpoint right off Cathedral Road, conveniently close to Gore Bay.

Cheviot Museum

Exhibiting local memorabilia and rural life in 1850s New Zealand. Open from Labour Weekend to King’s Birthday every Sunday 2-4pm (or by request).
