Country Lane

A charming, country-style community where farm buildings now host local start-ups. Find honey-makers, a massage shed and boutique stores in The Barn, all set around a courtyard with beanbags and good coffee. Don’t miss Bright Ink, a delightful second-hand bookshop inside a van.

Frankton Track

Setting off from Queenstown Gardens, skirt the edges of Wakatipu Lake, past Kawarau Falls Bridge and the Hilton Hotel before finishing up at Queenstown Golf Club. This is an easy 16.4km, Grade 2 walking track that can also be cycled. If you're game, the looped Kelvin Heights Sculpture Trail makes a fab add-on once you reach the golf course.

The Kelvin Heights Sculpture Trail

Circumnavigating the Kelvin Heights Golf Course, this easy, 3.5km looped walk features an assortment of sculptures gifted by an anonymous donor. Allow at least one hour to find them all.

Ride To The Sky

From Country Lane, embark on a three hour guided e-bike tour. Powering 800 metres above sea level, drink up Queenstown’s best views by peddling to the top of Grants Peak.
