My top must-do’s for visitors to Christchurch are:

• Hagley Park is just beautiful for a ride, walk or run.
• Dinner with the kids at Little High Eatery.
• Take a tram around town and check out Riverside Markets.
• Coffee at Café Lab and a walk down New Regent Street.
• Walk up Rapaki Track for some amazing views.
• Check out Riccarton Bush markets on a Saturday morning.
I’m starting to feel hungry just thinking about the great food and wine at Francesca’s Restaurant. We love it there; the polenta fries are out of this world!
For a delightful day trip, I’d direct visitors to Hanmer Springs. It’s world class. It’s got everything – a great village atmosphere, thermal pools, restaurants, activities for the kids. Definitely worth the drive.
Living in Christchurch city is awesome because the people are so friendly and it’s a great lifestyle.
