ABA ART LAB is welcoming “JANO BIFRONT” which of the most recent and personal works by the painter and sculptor Tomeu Ventayol. A set of works between paintings and sculptures have been made specifically for the space; they create a dialogue with the values of the god Janus who is known for having two faces, looking into both the past and the future. The artist has an honesty to his work, which analyzes the deity of this Roman origin and is characterized by its vigilant bifrontality to the balance of the universe: It puts a value in the experience; of one’s own, that of our elders and the experience of those already deceased.

… Paul A. Valery

“Putting a value

to the experience of one’s own, that of our elders and the experience of those already deceased.

Jorge Luis
