Connectors - How to Choose Maillons Certification & Traceability - Important Information CE self-certified Maillon Rapides - Suitable for any application except for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The marking is the guarantee of the product conforming to the Maillon Rapide technical specification.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Maillon Rapides - Certified for use as PPE against falls from height in the work place and in mountaineering/climbing. Manufactured in accordance with: EN 362:2004 Personal protective equipment against falls from a height – Connectors EN 12275:1998 Mountaineering equipment – Connectors – Safety requirements and test methods
Unique Marking PPE certified Maillon Rapide quick links - EN 362 / EN 12275 have a unique number laser etched on the locking nut. This assists users who require individual marking for traceability in their own systems. The numbers are factory applied and randomly generated. It is not possible to supply items with consecutive numbers. Abaris can offer specific laser marking or engraving of Maillon Rapides: Batch or sequential numbering, and logos can be re-produced by laser. Sizes vary depending on the available flat space on the item. For logos an artwork charge is applicable, once your artwork has been processed we will send you a proof document which MUST be signed and returned before we can start production. If you are unsure we recommend buying a sample item before ordering in quantity. Code

Fixed Maillon Ends Should you require fixed Maillon ends on the above ladders, please replace LO code with LM and add £8.00 to the total ladder price. For example, if you require a Wide Rung 4mm galvanised steel wire sided ladder with plain aluminium alloy rungs at 30cm spacing, with fixed maillon ends at a length of 15 metres, order using code LM 4 15 30 WA. The total cost would be £526.70 (LO 4 01 30 WA @ £34.58 per metre plus £8.00 for fixed Maillons). Fixed Maillons are only available on galvanised steel wire ladders. Code explanation: LM 4 15 30 WA = LM (ladder maillon) 4 (mm wire) 15 (metre length) 30 (cm rung spacing) WA (wide alloy rungs)
