HORIUM To enhance the experience of drinking water Individual Project 1month
Insight To enhance the experience of drinkingThe water. According to medical research and studies, an average adult requires to consume 2 litres of water per day to stay healthy. Water is the most important element as 60% of human body is comprised of it, outddoor activities, excercises and climate changes results in loss of water in the form of sweat. Due to busy lifestyles and lack of a refreshing experience while consuming water, leads to this negligence.
The Story of water Creating an experience inspired by beach.
The Story of time Creating a reminder inspired by seasons.
Inspiration
Inspiration Imagine a new way of drinking water suggesting a mix between Tangible and Intangible elements Imagine a new way of drinking water suggesting a mix which involvebetween time, geometry, asymmetry tangible andmotion, intangible elements which involve and flow. time, geometry, motion and asymmetry.
Concept Stories Three different stories to understand the different ways the experience can be created, using sand and water as main elements and hourglass itself as a water dispenser.
Form development
Mockup validation A 1:1 scale chart paper mockup was made to understand the proportions and to visualize details.

Bottoms up The dispenser works through innovation developed by the Bottoms up beer, the jar has a magnetic coin at the bottom which acts as a barrier, when it is pushed Bottoms up ! onto the tip of the dispenser, ultimately lifting the coin up and letting the filtered water into the jar.
When the jar is pushed on to the extrusion of seabed, the extrusion lifts up the magnetic coin, enabling water to pass into the jar.
On the top cap of the jar the water inlet is covered by a magnetic coin attached to its surface. This mechanism uses the innovation of “Bottoms up Beer technology to pass water from the Seabed to the Top jar

BIC AND CELLO The Future of writing for school children and students in India Masterclass
1 week
Schools and Stationery stores visits
At schools we were able to interact with kids of different age groups. Stationery stores gave us an insight into the types of writing equipments that are frequently bought.
Insights
People collect pen bodies to repurpose them Holding pens close to the nib reduces the speed of writing Increase in amount of waste by throwing the pen bodies away Long term exposure to uncomfortable pens can cause chronic issues
Go Ecofriendly People are getting concious and are opting for eco friendly products, in turn educating their kids about it which makes them environmentally concious as well. India is a country where recycling methods are primitive and eco friendly products make a lot more sense in India.
Sketchboard Explored concepts around forms and materials.
Bic Ecco Bic Ecco is a highly biodegradable pen which increases comfort while writing and is smartly designed to be used even after it gets exhausted. Paper mache body
Moulded grip to enhance the writing experience
Bic refill
Plastic cap
A cap with a smaller footprint and secondary usage
The paper mache body is soft to touch and reduces the calluses on the finger tips
The sweat caused during the long writing sessions can reduce the grip over the pen
As paper mache is pourous, it easily absorbs surface sweat, keeping your grip consistent
The cap is still useful to manage your papers
While the refill is not degradable, more than 70% of the body is bio degradeable
Ink in the refill gets exhausted
Bic Color A pen with an afterlife.
The refill can be thrown away once it’s over
Cap
Empty Refill
Crayon
Once the refill is done, throw it away and at end you have a “Mighty crayon”
The body of scrib color is consumed as a crayon, reducing 80% of plastic usage in a pen
The crayon is used in coloring and in turn not waste any part of your pen
Low on waste, high on creativity
Over time, the kid can collect his own set of Scrib colors and enhance his creativity

Cluttered coffee tables
Usually coffee table is used to place newspapers, magazines, multiple remotes and other items. It creates a messy environment in living room, leading to misplacing remotes and books when there is no proper storage is available for them.

100% Football Brand A Sport for anyone, anywhere, anytime A Brand created by football passioners for passioners A Brand completely dedicated for football and to make the sport available to everyone
USER Kid The ultimate user The player Fun seeking Looks over quality
BUYER Parent The ultimate buyer Safety concerned Cost oriented Quality over looks
Too many !
Too heavy !
In current scenario kid has to carry two seperate bags
Two seperate bags makes it too heavy for the kid to carry them
Backpack is used to carry books and no storage space for kit
The pressure leads kids to develop backaches and injuries
Football and rest of the kit is carried in the duffle bag
Insecure and most chances of misplacing the bags
Starting point The Initial idea was to store essentials in a bag and carry it to the field. After match the dirty shoes can be stored in the extended pouch which is hidden in the bottom of the bag.
Dual usage One single backpack is used for multiple tasks
Too many Different bags for different equipments

Front compartment can be used for ball storage
Compartment used to store all game essentials
Reverse clip the straps to use as a duffle bag
Starting point The Initial Idea was to have two seperate compartments which would seperate the shoe from rest of the kit for easy access of essentials.
Where is my stuff Every corner of the bag has to be searched to find shoes No compartments to segregate different equipments
The Stench

Client feedback “It was really fun working with the whole team. The quality of ideas and the concept generartion were very resourceful and intresting. The observed insights were solved in an outstanding manner. It was really satisfying to see the final outcome from this project”.
My Role This project was a great learning step in my journey so far. I was involved in sketching, making quick mockups and generating concepts from initial ideas and taking decisions as an essential member of the team. Facing challenges together as a team and understanding each other’s skills to solve them has been a great experience for me.
The final design has been made confidential and would further worked on by the company.

Since evolution, we caught up with technology and to create innovation, the need for simplistic and minimal design has evolved rapidly. After being involved into various team projects, masterclasses and research, I have mastered the design process from ideation to final product. Understanding the problem and solving it in simple and intuitive way is my design motto.
