LIGHTING & AUDIO VISUAL All of our rooms can have beautiful custom lighting to fit the mood of your wedding and reception. The Arcadia ballroom chandeliers have been custom designed for the Radisson Plaza hotel equipped with 24-led light fixtures and matching wall sconces to create the perfect mood for your dream wedding. We also feature beautiful, customizable up lighting in the Kalamazoo Room, Glens and Prairies. We have access to projectors for slide shows or video screenings, and digital signs to celebrate your big that will be featured around the hotel.

Planning a wedding is an exciting journey for any bride and groom – from picking themes to flowers, dresses, invitations, and so much more. As a team of wedding professionals, we have helped numerous brides, grooms and their families navigate through this journey, with the bride and groom’s dream wedding as the focus. Just like the couple, every wedding is unique. Before discussing the fine details, we invite our brides and grooms to our studio for a consultation to learn more about their story and what is important to them during this journey. We care about every detail – it helps us customize a wedding package that’s as unique as your fingerprint.

WEDDING COACH Lindsay Davies is our Special Events Producer at The Wedding Studio. For more than seven years, she has produced numerous events at the Radisson with exuberance and passion. Lindsay’s years of experience in banquet management has led her to the mastery of delivering unforgettable experiences for her clients and their guests. Lindsay held her own wedding at the Radisson Plaza Hotel on July 7, 2012, and she added that “no one else other than my team here at the Radisson knows my exact expectations on how to run a great wedding.” LINDSAY DAVIES Special Events Producer

WE’RE HERE TO HELP Our Concierge Team is comprised of talented, experienced employees with a passion for great service. From our Bell Stand to Front Desk we are here to ensure that you and your wedding guests are well cared for. Prior to arrival they can assemble amenity gift bags, featuring a variety of local products of your choice, to distribute to your guests at check-in. During your stay the team is available to make restaurant reservations, book salon or spa appointments at Blush, and provide information about local shops and events. Please feel free to contact the team with any inquiries or requests so that we can help make your wedding day perfect.

Our rooms are versatile spaces to fit the needs of your guests. Whether you need a room for lounging, getting ready or celebrating early, our team will design an arrangement to make everyone happy.

STANDARD ROOM Our standard guest room is ideal for out of town guests and is available in either one king or two queen beds.

BUSINESS CLASS SUITE This space offers upgraded amenities and a spacious living space, perfect for getting ready on the big day.

HOSPITALITY SUITE This room comes equipped with a kitchen, lounge seating area and dining table.

CONCIERGE LEVEL Located on the secure access 9th floor, enjoy services and amenities in the 100 West lounge as a part of the Concierge level experience.

UPJOHN SUITE This spacious, traditionally decorated two room suite features a living room with wet bar, large dining table and seating area.

GRAND LOFT Our premier two-story suite highlights a city view with floor to ceiling windows and a spiral staircase to the upper level. Modern decor, upgraded amenities and fully-stocked honor bar are all included with this elite suite.

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION Eliminate transportation hassles with access to our convenient parking and transportation services. Your wedding guests will have access to the parking garage conveniently attached to the Radisson Plaza Hotel. For guests traveling from out of town, a complimentary airport shuttle runs between the hotel and Kalamazoo/ Battle Creek International Airport and can be reserved daily from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Ask your special events producer for more information and pricing regarding shuttle reservations for your wedding party!

MINUTE DETAILS DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS A non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of the contract signing to hold the space on a definite basis. All wedding events are to be prepaid. The event must be paid in full three (3) business days prior. A credit card authorization is required for additional charges that may be incurred (such as an increase in guarantee or additional beverage consumption). Refunds for overpayment are mailed within two weeks after the event. Unfortunately, we cannot direct bill any wedding events held at the Radisson.

GUEST GUARANTEE The guarantee, or minimum number of guests for which you will be charged, is due three (3) business days before your event at noon. This guarantee represents the minimum guest count for billing purposes and may not be reduced. In the absence of a guarantee, your expected attendance will be used as the guarantee. No refunds will be issued if the actual number of guests in attendance is less than the final guarantee number.

SERVICE CHARGE For all functions on property, a service charge of 22% is applicable to all charges and added to the final bill. The service charge covers set-up, clean-up and service staff. The service charge and all other expenses are subject to 6% Michigan sales tax.

The final “I do” day will be marked by special touches that are personal and unique to you. Consultations with your wedding planner leading up to your big day will ensure a stress-free, enjoyable time for everyone. Let us do all of the work for you! We offer convenient ready rooms and honeymoon suites, welcome baskets for your out of town guests, and can organize a hearty post-wedding brunch for one last celebration.

You will receive a complimentary Bridal Whirlpool Suite, for the evening of the reception with options to add a night or two. Along with the wedding night, you will receive sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries to celebrate. Enjoy breakfast for two the next morning in our breakfast restaurant, Burdick’s for Breakfast.

POST WEDDING BRUNCH Enjoy a hearty brunch before heading off on your honeymoon! Get your friends and family together one last time and re-charge the morning after the wedding in the private dining section of Burdick’s for Breakfast. Burdick’s for breakfast features a delicious hot breakfast buffet, with all of the classic breakfast favorites. In addition to our onsite breakfast restaurant, we have many options for a brunch done in the style of your choosing in any of our available dining spaces.
