Nasceu em Araçagi, Paraíba, 1959. Designer têxtil e gráfico, artista visual e curador independente. Cursos de iniciação às artes visuais na Coex / UFPB (João Pessoa, 1974-75) e na Funesc (João Pessoa, 1984). Bolsista do Ministére des Affaires Étrangères (França) na École Supérieure des Beaux Arts Luminy (Marselha, 1997-98). Professor do Curso Superior de Moda (Unipê) e Consultor do Sebrae Paraíba (Design têxtil). Coordenador de artes plásticas da Funesc (João Pessoa, 1993-2010). Designer da Natural Cotton Color / Paraíba e expositor na Première Vision/ Designs (Paris, 2011-2017). Curador das Bienais de Gravura e de Desenho (Fenart, João Pessoa, 1998-2010). Membro da Curadoria de Artes Visuais da Aliança Francesa João Pessoa e Curador da Usina Cultural Energisa (João Pessoa, 20032017). Coordenador de intercâmbio das associações Le Hors-Là Paraíba (Brasil-França) e Rede (BrasilSuíça). Avaliador do Programa de Cultura Banco do Nordeste (Artes visuais, 2009-2011) e do Funcultura (Artes visuais, Fundarpe, Recife, 2011). Atuou como jurado e palestrante em diversos salões, seminários e fóruns de artes visuais. Editor das revistas “Segunda Pessoa” (MinC / Funarte) e “Cadernos de Cultura” (Secult, Paraíba). Colaborador nos jornais O Norte e A União / Correio das Artes (João Pessoa, 2005-2010), e no jornal da ABCA. Publicou os livros “Núcleo de Arte Contemporânea da Paraíba-NAC” (Coleção Fala de Artista/ Edições Funarte, 2004), “2005-2010 – Ensaios sobre Artes Visuais na Paraíba” (Programa BNB de Cultura, 2011), e o “Dicionário das Artes Visuais na Paraíba” (Programa Petrobras Cultural, 2015). Membro do Colegiado Setorial de Artes Visuais-CSAV / MinC (2005-2009 e 2010-2012) e do Colegiado Setorial de Moda-CSM/ MinC (20132015). Suplente do CSAV no Conselho Nacional de Política Cultural-CNPC / MinC (2010-2012). Born in Araçagi, Paraíba, 1959. Textile and graphic designer, visual artist and independent curator. Evaluator of the Banco do Nordeste Culture Program (Visual Arts, 2009-2011) and Funcultura (Visual Arts, Fundarpe, Recife, 2011). He has served as a jury and speaker in several salons, seminars and forums for the visual arts. Editor of the magazines “Segunda Pessoa” (MinC / Funarte) and “Cadernos de Cultura” (Secult, Paraíba). Collaborator in the newspapers O Norte and A União / Correio das Artes (João Pessoa, 20052010), and in the Jornal da ABCA.
