Felipe Chaimovich é Doutor em Filosofia pela USP (1998). É curador do MAM-SP desde 2007 e docente da FAAP desde 1997. É autor de “Iran do Espírito Santo” (Cosac & Naify, 2000), “Objects or Reflexion: Brazilian Cultural Situation”, em “On Cultural Influence” (Apexart, 2006), “Greenberg after Oiticica: Teaching Art Criticism Today”, em “The State of Art Criticism” (Routledge, 2008) e de “Die brasilianischen Instituitionen der Kunst und das Bild der Natur als etwas, das es zu bewahren gilt”, em “Diversity of development(s)? - New Concepts of Sustainability in Latin America” (Matthes & Seitz, 2013). Foi curador do “29º Panorama da Arte Brasileira do Museu de Arte Moderna de São Paulo” (2005), do “Festival Internacional de Jardins do MAM no Parque do Ibirapuera” (2010), dos “Encontros de Arte e Gastronomia” (MAM-SP, 2012), de “Museu Dançante” (MAM-SP, 2015) e de “O impressionismo e o Brasil” (MAM-SP 2017). Foi crítico de arte do “Jornal da Tarde” (1996 e 1997), da “Folha de São Paulo” (2000 a 2006) e das revistas “Art & Text”, Austrália, “Poliester”, México, “Tema Celeste”, Itália, e “Trans”, Estados Unidos. Felipe Chaimovich, Ph.D. in Philosophy, University of São Paulo (1998), is the curator of the Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo since 2007, and professor of Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado since 1997.
