Doutor em Antropologia pelo PPGA/UFPA, Mestre em Artes pelo PPGArtes/UFPA e Licenciado em Língua Inglesa pela Universidade Federal do Amapá/ UNIFAP. Durante o Doutorado, realizei estudos e pesquisas na Universidad del Cauca, cidade de Popayán, bem como na cidade de Santiago de Cali, ambas na Colômbia (primeiro semestre de 2015). Possuo pesquisa a qual envolve Arte Contemporânea na Amazônia, Teoria Antropológica, Antropologia Visual, Decolonialismo e Pós-Colonialismo. Já desenvolvi projetos na área da Antropologia Urbana em diálogo com as Artes Visuais: “R.U.A. Rota Urbana pela Arte” (2012-2013); “Paisagens Itinerantes: Varais Etnográficos entre os bairros da Cidade Velha e da Cidade Nova, em Belém, PA” (2014-2016) e “Museus e Patrimônio: Musealização do Centro Histórico de Belém” (20142018). Atualmente, sou Professor da Universidade Federal do Pará/ UFPA, vinculado a Faculdade de Artes Visuais. PhD in Anthropology at PPGA / UFPA, Master of Arts at PPGArtes / UFPA and BA in English at Universidade Federal do Amapá / UNIFAP. During the PhD, I carried out studies and researches at the Universidad del Cauca, in the city of Popayán, as well as in the city of Santiago de Cali, both in Colombia (first half of 2015). I have research that involves Contemporary Art in the Amazon, Anthropological Theory, Visual Anthropology, Decolonialism and Post-Colonialism. I have already developed projects in the area of Urban Anthropology in dialogue with the Visual Arts: “R.U.A. Urban Route for the Arts “(2012-2013); “Traveling Landscapes: Ethnographic Varietals between the Old Town and New Town neighborhoods in Belém, PA” (2014-2016); and “Museums and Heritage: Musealization of the Historical Center of Belém” (2014-2018). I am currently a Professor at the Federal University of Pará / UFPA, linked to the School of Visual Arts.
