MOU SIGNING

On Monday, March 6, 2023, the Department of Economic Development of Abu Dhabi and AmCham Dubai came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

This MOU marks a new milestone in the cooperation between the two entities, with the aim of strengthening the integrity of American brands and protecting Intellectual Property Rights, commercial protection, consumer protection, and anti-commercial fraud measures.

The partnership comes in line with the UAE’s Economic Vision 2030, which seeks to create an environment that is conducive for businesses to flourish and for the Emirate to become a premier shopping destination. With the signing of this MOU, both organizations have united their efforts to combat counterfeit and fake goods in the market through awareness campaigns, inspection, and preventive measures.
