Following a highly successful Annual Concert, and marking the King’s Coronation, the Ashington and District Male Voice Choir (ADMVC) now move on to preparing for a Charity Concert to raise funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

The concert on June 10th at Bomarsund Welfare at 7.00 pm will provide an evening of entertainment with a licensed bar for refreshments and a prize raffle. Tickets are £5 and all proceeds are to be donated to the DEC Ukraine Fund. The Choir is incredibly grateful to Bomarsund Welfare for hosting this event and the support given.

We are still actively recruiting, and would urge any prospective new members to come along to any rehearsal on Thursday evenings at 7pm in the lounge Bomarsund Welfare for a chat and a free taster session. No audition is required, and you do not need to be able to read music as one of our experienced members will guide you throughout the evening. An interval with coffee/tea and biscuits provides the ideal opportunity for members to catch up socially and is always a popular part of rehearsals.

Communal singing really lifts your mood and the health benefits from regular singing are well publicised.

We look forward to hearing from you.
