YP Dodgeball Tournament

This year the ABC Pelican Young Professionals hosted their first ever Dodgeball Tournament! This event has been two years in the making and we were finally able to pull it off. It was a day of great company and fierce competition. We had some rookies and a few seasoned vets that served as the tournament’s referrees. Thank you to Wes Mincin (Triad), Trey Crawford (Grady Crawford Construction) and Kenny Freeman (Brown & Root) for coming out to support the next generation of the construction industry. After some intense pool play, the finale came down to two teams, O’Doyle Rules (Doyle Electric) and We Dodge Better (Performance Contractors – Red Team). Three rounds of flying balls, smack talking and dodging in the sand came down to a one-on-one stand-off. Both of these teams fought hard but, in the end, We Dodge Better took home the W and shiny trophy, of course! We can’t forget about the other winners of the day the Average Joes team (PALA) won Best Costume!
