HIERARCHY ALONG GRIDS BACHELOR PROJECT URBAN PLANNING AND DESIGN
In the center of Barcelona exist ‘The Three Hills’ that act as an obstacle in the city, Where either citizens or tourists rarely visit, As if those hills truly disconnects the city and the whole area lose it’s urban public life despite of having many qualities. The main aim of the project is to create an urban strategy that will bring the connection of the three hills back to the city. Since the maps of Barcelona have difference in the built tissue and division of grids, So the Map was divided into three zones; Regular, Less developed area and Topography. The design proposal was about having the ‘Less Developed Area’ as a transitional zone and a buffer area to the Hills defining it with ‘Ronda Del Guinardo’ Main street and the proposed Contour line of the three hills. A proposal of three main doors for the Hills defining each door with a dual axis as an urban strip from the city to the hills and from the hills to the city to reduce the shock of the urban experience and also as an inviting connection to the three doors. KERNEL OF YULIN DESIGN STUDIO VIII EDUCATIOAL URBAN PLANNING AND DESIGN
Yulin, Shaanxi was a major trading point between China and Mongolia. The old city Yulin is almost disappearing during the rapid modern Urban developments of chaotic high-rise compounds and low quality open spaces, A campus is to be considered as a part of this expansion projects. The design proposal was to resist the poor experiences that the modern projects brought to this area and to revive the lost qualities of the Chinese typologies while dealing with the huge topography levels. Considering this educational campus as the resistant nuclease within the modern expansion, The design started with studding the topography levels and dividing it. Allocating the main roads and entrances to the campus and also designing an Ecological corridor by the use of the topography levels so the part inside it is all pedestrian friendly and car free. Also designing transportation system and trum stations. Then allocating the campus facilities on the different clusters starting with the public facilities on the boarders of the site reaching to private facilities for students.

EDUCATIONAL AND PRODUCTIVE CITY DESIGN STUDIO V URBAN PLANNING AND DESIGN
Education shapes a Metropolitan and an educational city works best when its being fund with productivity of its own people. Cairo is one of the most populated cities in the world and also it suffers from the lack of urban spaces for public activities, The design aims for developing a strategy that would help to generate public life in the area of Cairo University and it’s connection to El-Manial through Cairo university bridge. The design proposal was about having an educational side with the Cairo university as an open campus to the botanical garden and the Giza zoo with adding some anchors like Cultural hub, Library and a stadium that will make students spend more time on campus and attract the public to take the experience of the educational part. While Transforming and reviving El-Manial to a productive district with productive housing, Educational center and a Market Hall that serve the productive housing. Also designing a promenade on the shore of the Nile both sides. In a way the both sides depends on each other and make the area the vital area of the Metropolitan.

HYDRO-POLIS CITY DESIGN STUDIO VII URBAN DESIGN
As the second largest city in the world, Mumbai presents many challenges and problems in spatial, social and strategic topics. Mumbai is the capital city of the state of Maharashtra. It’s Eastern waterfront stretches around 16 Kilometres from Wadala in the North to Colaba in the South. The design aim was urban transforming in Mumbai while focusing on Four main aspects;Housing, Public spaces, Mobility and infrastructure. Looking through Mumbai maps and problems the Main issue was that it rains in Mumbai 80% of the year, And rain water flows into the Arabian sea through the drain system and when high-tide in the sea reached 4.5 Meters Sea water start to enter Mumbai through the drain pipes, Which increases the probability of flooding in Mumbai especially in the Slums areas which are 60% of Mumbai, The design proposal was to transform Mumbai into a world-class educated city and make use of rain water in agricultural and green towers instead of losing 2.1 Million Liters per day.

ALEXANDRIA’S NEW TOWER
(BRANDING THE CITY) DESIGN STUDIO IV ARCHITECTURE DESIGN (INDIVIDUAL PROJECT)
Alexandria is the second largest city in Egypt and also the largest city on the Mediterranean with population around 5 Million people and a lot of tourists visit it every-year. The city extends about 40 km at the northern coast of Egypt along the Mediterranean Sea. One of the most historical and important areas in Alexandria is ‘BAHARY’ Where the castle of Qaitbay is located. The design aim to Design a hotel tower in this area to act as a landmark for the area, And also start to attract the Citizens and Tourists to discover more about this area. The design Proposal was to design a Geometrical tower and try to design all the sides overlooking the sea. Also try to design some Luxurious rooms with Cantilevered balconies and roof-tops. So the user can have a 180 view for the sea and the castle, Also having a huge entrance to the hotel with a landscape and seating areas connected to the shore with some kiosks.

AZBAKEYA MARKET HALL DESIGN STUDIO III ARCHITECTURE DESIGN
Al-azbakeya is an old historical district in Downtown Cairo where most of city activities take place there. Next to the existing old bookstore in El-Opera Square is a vacant land which was previously a park. The Vacant land act as a transition point from El Attaba to Downtown. The design aim was to design a market hall which servers all the needs of construction and sustainability. The market should-not be only for selling food but also has some additional functions such as exhibition space, food court and book market. The design proposal was to have the Market as a sort of cultural hub and can help to improve the current urban situation. Also the Azbakeya garden has to be re-connected to the new outdoor areas. Also by extending two axes; The 26 of july street to El-Attaba and connecting the metro station exit to the main street. The orientation of the market was around these downtown like pathways to make it a social space were people meet and take the experience of the walk-able roof and the market under a Hybrid structured roof.

CAD CAM RHINOCEROS/ PHOTOSHOP DIGITAL DESIGN (GROUP PROJECT)
The project aim was to learn digital design by using Rhinoceros as a modelling tool. By transforming a photo to a 3d model and adding abstract details by searching similar references. Then learning to add Textures, lighting and rendering on V-ray. Next step was Photoshop to add some post production to give atmosphere to the image. The same 3d model was used to create different atmosphere and different themes.
