I have been working with Walsh Construction since June 2012 in their BIM department. I am currently documenting the BIM process at LAX and performing 3D coordination meetings with subcontractors. This opportunity has provided me a great deal of insight into the world of construction and project management.

Professional work Employer: EA Consulting pvt.ltd Project: Ufone telecom office building design demanded a scheme that encouraged interaction within the building and its functions. A central piazza was thought to be the focal element within the scheme that would firstly fulfill the nature of the functions i.e,the connection within themselves and secondly the piazza would expose different vantage points and vistas within the site since it lacks views outside. Site Area: 200,000 sft Competition entry: 1st Position

Product design
Transformable stool: The design is based on the mechanics of a HINGE. The product serves as a table, a stool and a lamp. All three systems can be explored by rotating the product around the 45 degree hinge. All the details are custom designed and manufactured. Materials: Wood, custom designed stainless steel hinges and base, white synthetic leather for bench cushioning

Graduate Studio Location: Orange county, CA, USA Project “SEHEN”: “Sehen” means to surround, collect and connect. “Sehen” is about redefining the architectural typology- in this case a house of 950 sqft. for a young married couple. The design is based on creating experiences at multiple levels by introducing sectional diversity in the scheme. The ramp is used to connect different parts of the house together. The ramp landings define new unique functional spaces. Hence ramp connects the whole house together choreographically. Courtyard is the collector of sunlight and can be used as an outdoor space. It can also be used as an extesion of the living space in case of large parties and social gatherings.

Graduate Studio Project: Exploring work-live typologies o for the growing city of Los Angeles. Los Angeles is a sprawling city and lacks public spaces. The main idea of this design is to concentrate on strategies that create public spaces that have a sense of place and community. Another important aspect is to identify the new typologies of living and working in the emerging global trends and lifestyles. Master plan: 10 million sft Detail design: 01 million sft Program: Offices, apartments, lofts, digital library, hotel, urban park, amphitheatre, auditorium
