MCP Speech Dear applicant AIESEC in Afghanistan is calling for the best talent, but more than that, is calling for the best leaders, people that have the capacity to inspire others with their actions to dream more, learn more, do more and become more. People that can help me drive AIESEC in Afghanistan towards a successful path which can build a legacy through the upcoming generations and centuries. Afghanistan Afghanistan is a landlocked and mountainous country located in the heart of South Central Asia with the history of over 5000 years. - Capital: Kabul - Population: 34.66 million (2016) - President: H.E Ashraf Ghani - Climate: Dry to semiarid; cold winters and hot summers. - Language: Dari (Persian) & Pashto are oďŹƒcial languages, but there are more 30 languages in Afghanistan. - Currency: Afghani (Afs) - Religion: Islam


MC Afghanistan DUTIES: • MC is a full-time job. Each MCVP is expected to work 40 hours per week (University is Exception). • Working time is Saturday to Thursday, weekends are free (except of conferences and other representative duties). • MC term officially starts on 1st August 2018 and officially ends on 31st July 2019. • Transition period will start on 1st of June 2018. Further details will be given after the selection. BENEFITS • Every MC member will receive a stipend, which will be around 100$ per month - according to MC budget. • Food, accommodation and transportations in Kabul are fully covered (also during transition period). • Office Space is provided (A very desirable work environment). • Wi-Fi is provided both in the office and at home. For Internationals: Insurance and flight from your country are not provided. Expenses for legalization in Afghanistan will be fully covered (meaning residents permit procedures)


MC Rule The MC Team The MC team of AIESEC in Afghanistan represents AIESEC as a National association in the Global Network and Afghanistan as a nation; the MC is meant to serve the Local Committees and to foster implementation of strategies, behaviors, driving the growth of the organization and developing the leaders that Afghanistan needs. The team should embody, as role models, the behaviors and values that will make the change happen.

ACCOUNTABILITY • Report weekly to the MC team; • Report quarterly, as MC Team, to the National plenary; • Fill weekly the MC Tracking tool; • Being constantly up to date with non AIESEC resources on functional topics. GENERAL JD • Represent AIESEC in Afghanistan in the National and International Conferences; • Co-create with the National Plenary the Plan for 17|18; • Understand and foster the National strategies regardless the position; • Create spaces and support system for the Local Committees; • Align National Strategies to Global Strategies delivering a tailored approach to LCs; • Attend weekly EB meetings, Monthly and Quarter reviews with no exceptions. • Deliver the National Education Cycle created by the MCVP OD.


Selection Process By sending this application it means you are applying as MCVP of AIESEC in Afghanistan. This means that all the applications will be taken in consideration for all the available positions inside the MC. *In the question number 6 of the general questionnaire you will write your preferences, and you have to answer the specific questionnaire of your preferred positions. (that would mean: 4 pages for each specific questionnaire). Allocation will be done my MCP. You should answer to 2 specific questionnaire as per your preference! Endorsement Letters: Please provide 3 endorsements (further details have been shared on next pages). Executive Summary: 1 page summarizing the main contents of your application. Max 2 page CV containing AIESEC and non AIESEC experiences. MCVP OD Job Description The MCVP OD is responsible for the entity general growth and the evolution of the organization. By constant data analysis he is in charge of proposing the best ways to ensure balance and healthy growth of the LCs. As a team leader he is responsible as well of the alignment of the sub team in the delivery of its activities.

MCVP PD Job Description The MCVP PD is responsible for the entity investments. With the creation and delivery of a national products portfolio the BD ensures the growth in ELD program, execution of national partnerships and high quality standards to our partners.

MCVP ICX Job Description The MCVP ICX is responsible to drive the program growth by presenting and executing the most advanced strategies for the area. He’s responsible as well for the IR strategy by cooperating with different AIESEC entities. Moreover he’s responsible for analyzing all the national issues and create the projects that impact the most Afghan society.

Please explain the process in which how can we initiate an IG and develop it to a sustainable LC? 3. How would you guarantee operational growth and organizational health for AIESEC in Afghanistan? 4. What is OD? and how can an MCVP OD make a dierence in an entity as Afghanistan? 5. We will be having 3 Expansions by end of our term, please specify which provinces will be your target? explain a timeline for them and strategies on how can we sustain them?


MCVP Incoming Exchange iGV: 1. Point out Strengths and Weaknesses of iGV in terms of its impact in our society? 2. Design an iGV project for 4 EPs, make it as much realistic as you can? 3.
