Dear Candidate! My heartiest congratulations to you for taking this extremely challenging and fulfilling decision of applying for the position of the Executive Body-AIESEC BOST 2017-18. The experience of applying will be one of the most self-enlightening periods of your life, where your past in AIESEC in terms of your experiences, and your future vision for the local committee, will converge to help this great local committee envisage what lies ahead in 2017. This journey will make you question a lot, yet, will also reinforce your belief in certain things, so make sure you use this time to gain as much insight as you can about yourself as an individual, and obviously, as a candidate for this post.

Talent Management & Finance Job Description -

Ensure proper implementation of all TM processes at local level.

Coach TM members and track their plans, focuses, goals and actual performance.

Develop and ensure the quality of the LC culture.

Ensure the local committee has strong leadership pipeline for each leadership position at LC level.

Manage elections in local level to ensure proper delivery by providing guidelines and frameworks to LC.

Ensure members and LCEB are continuously developing and learning as members of the LC.

Ensure a Transparent Tracking.

Assisting LCVP in making financial decisions.

Reporting, Budgeting, Invoicing and collecting payment.

Preparing monthly financial statements (income statement and balance sheet).

Business Development & IGT Job Description - Study on market research to find potential sponsors for our LC long term partnership. - Work with MCVP BD to enforce national BD strategies, initiatives and products and make sure on financial sustainability. - Follow up and closing sales with past and current prospects and Developing and selling both existing and new products. - Planning: set target and create strategy, timeline, and action steps to generate and ensure the quality of GIP.

- Work with MCVP ICX and MCVP BD to enforce national BD/IGT Strategies, initiatives and products. - Collaborate with MC to identify new opportunities for national products, sign new partnerships for their local committee.

Out Going Exchange Job Description - Create strategy to support a sustainable growth of both oGV and oGT operation.

- Provide support and coaching to team members and team leaders in OGX department regarding AIESEC knowledge and strategy. - Manage local OGX campaigns, promotion, etc.

- Develop and implement with VP TM an effective EP reintegration strategy to ensure OGX participants are engaging in multiple programs. - Ensure enhancement and improving and improvement of OGX processes.

Marketing & communication Job Description - Analyze the effectiveness of all marketing efforts. - Determine and manage the marketing budget. - Work with other functional teams, especially OGX and TM to develop (new) products for students. - Identify target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them AIESEC Branding. - Oversee media presence at AIESEC events and make sure that AIESEC is well represented. - Coach communication members and track their plans, focuses, goals and actual performance.

- Manage the sales experience of members and ensuring members are capable to sell to students. - Manage university relation and ensure good relationship between AIESEC and relevant universities. - Work to have AIESEC recognized as part of University programs.

General Guidelines: - All parts/questions of the manifesto must be answered. Any application package which is not completely filled will be treated as invalid and not accepted. - Post selections, an Executive Body-Select will continue to discharge his/her duties as per his/her last role in AIESEC Afghanistan. He/she will continue with his/her Executive/Management/General Body member responsibilities until Annual General Meeting. The times of team and individual transition (post Executive Body 2017-18 selections) are an additional requirement to this. - All members being selected on to the Executive Body 2017 have to be present in the city of Kabul through the month of January for transitions.

Any changes made in the application post submission or breach of selection guidelines would lead to disqualification of the candidate.

Keep your answers to the point and as brief and concise as possible. Convey your message in as few words as possible. Preferably mention statistics or support your theories or data or your thoughts with stats.

Section 1 – About You 1. Write one-page article describing yourself from a third person point of view highlighting facts about your personality. Be as creative as you wish to be! 2. Please make a one page resume that includes the following aspects: - Name and Contact Details. - Academic Achievements and Qualifications. - Additional Achievements and Experiences. - Skills & Interests. 3. List your time commitments throughout the next year as per the details asked in the following table. if there is anything else that is not included in the table, mention it separately:

Section 2 – You and AIESEC 1.

Present your AIESEC Experience in a chronological order and list your results achieved and key learning out of each role.

What are your strengths and weaknesses as a person? How would you focus on; capitalizing your strengths and improving your weaknesses? Also write three core values that you stand for.

With reference to your AIESEC journey, do you believe you're creating any sort of impact on the world outside of AIESEC? If yes, do justify the same objectively.

Describe your future short-term and long-term career and personal goals. How do you expect an EB term to help you achieve these goals and why now? What are the experiences that you have missed in AIESEC and what could you have learnt from those experiences?

Section 3 - You as a Leader 1. Why have you decided to run for the role of EB of AIESEC Bost over any other opportunity in or outside AIESEC?

2. What is your definition of an ideal leader? What makes you believe that you are eligible for the position of an Executive Body member of AIESEC Bost? 3. People run Organization or Organization runs People. Give your perspective. 4. Explain what your relationship with the Management Body and General Body would be like as an EB member and a VP. 5. Mention a leader who you always look up. Also give qualities in a Leader that you don't like. 6.
