This unit addresses the challenge faced by the modern manager: how organisations can plan and anticipate an uncertain future.
Innovation and Business Performance – assessed by open book exam
This unit focuses upon identifying, developing and utilising appropriate forms of measurement for informed managerial decisions and for evaluating results. It also develops a holistic view of the drivers and effects of innovation on business enterprise, and awareness of the wider contexts in which it can be applied.
• Effective Financial Management – assessed by open book exam
This unit is to enable learners to understand the management of financial resources in a business. It covers the applied techniques that managers need in order to make informed financial decisions and also the critical and theoretical knowledge and skills that managers need in a financial role.
• International Business Economics and Markets – assessed by open book exam
This unit develops a strong understanding of economic theory and principles in the context of everchanging and dynamic international marketplaces. When a firm decides to engage in international trade they have a number of options to choose from, students consider the relevance of each method of entry through the analysis of case histories.
