Hometown Where is your hometown? My hometown is located in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. It is located in the north of the country and is not far from the southern border of China. Is there much to do in your hometown? Oh, yes, because it is a fairly large city, so of course there is a lot to do. If you like to go out at night, there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars. If you like cultural events, there are museums and art galleries. But if you like nature, there are many other things outside the city that are easy to reach.
What are the people like in your hometown?
Most of them are very friendly, but like most big cities, everyone is busy, so it seems that they are not interested in talking or chatting. However, if you live there, you know that most people are happy to chat when they have time and help you when needed.

Studies What are you studying at the moment? I am studying history at university. This is a four-year course that I started three years ago, so I still have one year. I really enjoyed it so it was very sad. What do you like most about your studies? We learn a lot about the past from politics and war, but I like to understand people's past lifestyles. Surprisingly, from the past to the present, our lives have undergone such tremendous changes. In some ways, our lives are now easier, but in other respects, the simple life of the past has made people happier. Learn all the fascinating things.
What do you plan to do later on when you have wrapped up?
I am not sure now, but I may go to teach. This is why I am doing an IELTS test because I intend to continue my master's degree in a particular field of history. I may decide what to do after I finish this job.
