To give impetus to higher technical education, to meet futuristic global standards, to instill high patterns of discipline and character building to make students technically strong, in short to improve the total quality of life is what PDM is all about. With this core goal in mind, the Prabhu Dayal Memorial Religious and Educational Association (PDMREA, popularly referred as PDM) came up with its first Institution named PDM Polytechnic in 1995-96. And then came up PDM College of Engineering in July 1999, PDM Public School in 2003, PDM College of Pharmacy in 2004, PDM Institute of Engineering & Technology at Karsindhu, Safidon (Jind) in 2005, PDM College of Education, Ultra modern PDM Dental College & Research Institute, PDM General Hospital in 2006, PDM College of Engineering for Women in 2009, PDM College of Technology & Management in 2011 and PDM Primary School in 2013. The new Institutes in the form of PDM High School is coming shortly to add more grace to the PDM Family. Today, it is a well established institution spread over 95 acres of land in absolutely pollution free surroundings. The Association has achieved astounding success in the field of education in a short span of time and it plans to add new educational courses every year so that quality education in every field becomes available under one roof for the convenience of the students. There is a separate quota for students falling in the economically weaker section as per the guidelines of the Govt.of India. The Association has entered the 19th year of successfully imparting quality technical education. 3

STUDENT FEEDBACK We see many schools all around India and one of them is PDM Public School in Bahadurgarh, Haryana. Its full form is Prabhu Dayal Memorial. PDM is a very big Group of Institutions. The School started in 2003. It is very big and beautiful school. It has the classes from Pre-Nur to XII. Some specialities of it which I am going to tell you are: First of all I like the education of this school which is provided by Smart-board. Our school teachers are provided with i-Pads. All the teachers teach us with the help of i-Pad. This school has Separate building for small kids, named as â&#x20AC;&#x2DC;Tiny Tots Wingâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;. The number of rooms in this school is near about 90. It has a big playground. There are many swings in which small kids can swing. There are many labs to do practical work. It has a sports & medical room. It has transport facility also. At the end I would like to say that I am not studying in this school, just for good education. STUDENT FEEDBACK Our school creates a complete environment round the year which is best for the student’s mind to develop. Starting from quiz contests, debates, competitions at school level to inter school dance & singing competitions up to national levels. The teachers of my school are well trained and educated who give their best to evaluate their students. All these help increases student’s confidence and also the limit of imagination. Regular Annual and other functions create a hope for parents who long to see their child’s active participation. New comers are always helped and encouraged for participation. The unique feature of our school is that every year a trip is sponsored by the management to visit a foreign country. This year I was one of the top 10 students that were short listed for this. The teachers with us were very cooperative & made us enjoy the trip. Computer Lab

To keep the student’s knowledge updated & provide them respite form the hectic schedule of studies, the school organizes excursions from time to time to various amusement parks, museums, historical building and hill stations etc. and enjoy in the company of friends, teachers amidst dance, music, food & games.

Students are motivated to experience self directed learning about different things. Regular classes are conducted in the most modern computer labs to increase their knowledge & skills in IT arena.

Activity Oriented Learning It is the earnest efforts of all our faculty members to carry out the most fruit bearing teaching-learning process with the help of integrated curriculum. The students are taught and trained to get the answers to ‘what,why & how.’

Maths Lab The school has well equipped Maths Lab to enable the students understand the concepts easily and in a very interesting manner.

Language Lab To equip the students with mastery of all language skills (reading, listening, speaking, writing) the school offers students a magnificent Language Lab where the students are imparted language proficiency skills by using O.H.P. ,T.Vs, slide projectors & CD’s.

Foreign Languages The need to acquire knowledge and accent of international languages have become vital for students in this global world. And our school facilitates the teaching of foreign languages like French by skilled and trained facilitator.

Science Lab There is fully equipped science lab to make the concepts more clear. “Learning by doing” helps the students in reviewing and reinforcing scientific concepts and developing investigatory skills.

Our School is pioneer in adopting new technologies such as i-Pads. Our school has introduced digital classrooms in all the classes and has successfully sent four batches of students to foreign countries for interaction with foreign students & exposure to culture. Many extra co-curricular activities & programmes are held regularly. Our school also actively takes part in inter-school sports competitions. Medical Care Our medical facilities have proved to be a boon for many students & parents. It is only because of our well equipped dispensary, a highly qualified physician and a trained nurse that a number of students have improved upon their health. Regular health check up of all the students enable many parents to get to know about their wardâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s ailment. Problems like error of refraction, over weight, under weight, dental problems, allergies and other ailments were detected and timely help relieved the students as well as the parents. The students are provided regular dental check-up by the dental surgeons of PDM Dental College & Research Institute.

Transport

The school has a fleet of 50 buses manned by experienced and trained drivers & conductors. The smooth plying of the vehicles is managed by Transport Incharge. Students are accompanied by maids. School provide ‘door to door’ transport facility.

Swimming Swimming is an ideal exercise for the complete fitness of body and mind. The school has its own well equipped ultra modern swimming pool for the students. The students are trained by 2 qualified swimming coaches-one male, one female.

Counselling Most students encounter challenges beyond the scope of teachers’ or parents’ awareness at one point or the other during their school career. Through proper & effective counselling, the students learn to deal with the challenges, get empowered to overcome obstacles & in turn seize opportunities. The students get all sorts of tips & support on solving problems & managing stress thereby making wise decisions with the help of school counsellor.

Safety and Security Safety and Security of a child are of prime importance to us here at P.D.M School. Trained Guards are posted at all vantage points and in buses to safeguard children. The safety procedures at the entry gate are rigorous while screening visitors. Stringent safety norms are laid down to ensure that each and every child feels secure and protected throughout. It is not just shielding from external threats but also safeguarding them from hazards. The construction, the furniture design, toxin free equipments, apparatus, swings, toys and games etc. are special features towards that objective.

Interactive boards The need of the hour is to make the students more creative & innovative. They now have access to the latest educational technology with interactive projectors, computer, internet, power point presentation & animations have been blended together to create a magical effect in the classes. Also, the school has a complete Wi-Fi-system for the campus.

Gymnasium A healthy mind resides in a healthy body. To keep our students healthy and in a good shape, latest and most sophisticated exercise equipments have been installed in the Gym.

Electricity To avoid disturbance in teaching learning process, uninterrupted power supply is made available round the clock by our own high powered generators to supplement the system in case of expected or unexpected cuts and breakdowns of lines.

Drinking water To reduce the burden of carrying water bottles, the school provides mineral water. Water coolers have been installed to make cool and purified water available during summer.

Games, Sports and Yoga The school has facilities for both indoor and outdoor games. It has well maintained grounds for Football, Cricket,Athletics,Hockey,Kho-Kho, Handball,Basketball, Skating etc. Yoga, Judo-Karate and Aerobics are the regular features of the school curriculum. Arts, Music & Dance The school has a spacious music room with a variety of instruments. Students having interest in music are provided with facilities for vocal training and learning of various instruments like Sitar,Tabla, Harmonium, Casio etc. Various types of classical, folk and other dances are also taught.

All my teachers have enabled me to develop my personality and to be spiritually oriented, intellectually alert, morally upright, emotionally balanced, socially conscious, sensitive to other feeling and patriotic so as to build a better society in harmony with people and nature. Every year fully sponsored educational tour to different countries is organized by our prestigious institution for enhancement of knowledge of children and making them aware about every common affairs going across the world. Inclusion of I-Pad Technology As it has always been a tradition of the PDM group to be a leader in introducing latest technologies for the betterment of education, be it providing a state-of the art computer lab or the inclusion of SMART classes for each and every classroom, this year is no different. PDM has again become a pioneer in innovative education by introducing Apple’s latest IPAD in school. IPAD teaching ensures the educators to create and deliver course material, using the Internet which provides access to the websites directly tied to the course materials as well as to resources around the world.

Smart Learning Class Rooms Regular class rooms have been transformed into technology enabled ‘Smart Learn Class Rooms’. This has ensured easy accessibility to quality education. This also helps in maintaining the continuity of learning from school to home. A visual and graphical presentation of each chapter explains the concepts from basic to advance level in a very impressive manner. It also increases the attention span of the students. Smart Learning Modules, Mind map & test modules are extremely helpful for understanding of the chapters & final revision of the concepts. Educational Tour to Foreign Countries To motivate the students for their excellence in all-Academics, Sports, Cultural activities, behaviour, projects & General Knowledge, 10 best students of the school are sent to foreign country to visit educational Institutions, monuments, other worth seeing places and also know about the culture & traditions. Last year the group of 10 students escorted by two teachers visited Dubai. In the previous year the students of PDM Public School visited London (UK). The tour is fully sponsored by management of the school.

ADMISSION GUIDELINES • Complete all the columns of the form using a pen with black / blue ink.The form will be rejected if it is incomplete in any way. • Merely completing and submitting the application form does not guarantee admission to study at PDM Public School. All admissions will be made as per the rules and regulations of the institution. • The application received for admission will be screened by the admission committee. The letter regarding grant of admission will be sent to the parents. • The school reserves the right to cancel any admission, at any time, if it is found that the admission has been obtained by the candidate on the basis of false or fraudulent certificate or by misrepresentation of facts. • The school’s decision of accepting or rejecting any application/granting or refusing admission shall be final and the school shall not be obliged to assign any reason/ reasons for that.

LEADING THE COUNTRY CREATING THE FUTURE I was in the 1st standard when I took admission in PDM Public School in 2008. I was hardly aware of the world around me but it is this school which has helped my learning, understanding and exploring things to satisfy my curiosity. The school curriculum is planned in such a manner that it focuses not only on academics but is also on the extra activities like extempore, quiz, GK Tests, personality development etc. These activities ensure that grooming of the student is perfect and they will be successful in life in future. New teaching techniques like i-Pad teaching had been introduced to make learning a fun and enjoyable experience.I thank my teachers and the school, for really instilling confidence in me to face challenges now and in future also.

My Schoolâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s name is PDM Public School. It is the best school in the world. The most important thing that I like about school is extra-curricular activities. Including study, sports, inter school competitions, foreign trips etc. In our school one student is selected from each class to go to foreign countries. There are many types of games played in our school like football, cricket, chess etc. I also like that our school wins most of the time in inter school competitions. Each classroom has smart-boards where our teachers used to explain chapters using i-pad device. In our school there is big swimming pool where we swim and the special thing is that our teachers are very good. I like my school very much.
