This sector involves mostly delivery & load hauling. Truck drivers are required by law to have a valid C.D.L. license. Most companies also require all driver’s have a clean driving record, can pass random drug screenings, & have at least a basic level of experience hauling loads. Some truck drivers travel local routes, but a large percentage of them are required to haul loads using the interstate which requires them to stay on the road a large percentage of the year.
