Winter Adventure Guide 2020-2021 City of Abilene Parks and Recreation

Page 1

Abilene Parks & Recreation Although this year has been challenging for many of us in many ways, our community is #AbileneStrong and we’re grateful to be a part of it! Challenges or not we are always looking for creative ways to provide fun activities both indoors and out. Some of our recreational programming this quarter include the Mayor’s Hike and Trout Fest in December, as well as our Winter Break Camp hosted at Cobb Recreation Center. Aside from recreation, we also have more than 25 wonderful parks to visit throughout this winter season. Whether it’s fishing at Kirby Lake, riding bikes at Sears Park or taking your dog to Camp Barkeley, there are many new adventures to discover. We look forward to serving you this winter season and we hope you all stay happy and healthy! Sincerly,

Lesli Andrews Lesli Andrews Director of Community Services
