The World’s Enrichment Program allows you to delve deeper into the history, culture, traditions, and events of destinations before you even disembark. Live music, wine tastings, and local cultural experts both on board and off inform and enhance your travel experience.

The World Nobel Laureate Lecture Series

This program brings esteemed Nobel Prize Laureates to the Ship to lecture on topics in their respective fields such as medicine, economics and science. This ongoing series offers Residents the opportunity to personally connect with and learn from the foremost internationally-renowned experts on Earth.

Experiential Destination Programs

Appealing to all interests and activity levels, The World offers a wide variety of enriching experiences ashore. This includes everything from half-day to overnight programs, Overland Journeys, and bespoke, customized travel experiences.

The Destination Team crafts unique Overland Journeys that align with the Ship’s itinerary in multiple locations. In addition, they provide Bespoke Arrangements — select travel experiences of two or more nights for Residents of The World As a Resident, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a member of the team for any customized, bespoke travel desires you may have.

The Destination Team has years of experience building local relationships across the globe, along with a creative insight that is rare in the travel industry. This allows them to provide magical, personal events that are not found online or in guidebooks. Their unique expertise ensures that exceptional lodgings, stellar food and wine experiences, knowledgeable local guides, and access to the most exclusive sites culminate in outstanding adventure and unparalleled cultural immersion.

Expeditions

One to three times per year, The World’s Residents & Guests embark on an in-depth exploration of a particular region, spending several weeks with a complete team of experts who prepare participants before the Expedition, guide them each day, and debrief once the Expedition has ended. Expeditions are The World's most revered activity, leading our adventurers to locations seldom touched by humans. Past Expeditions have included Antarctica, Papua New Guinea, Greenland, Melanesia, Madagascar, the Northwest Passage, and the White Sea.

Ocean Studios

Ocean Studios aboard The World are designed with soothing neutral tones and classic contemporary décor to make anyone feel a sense of comfort and tranquility. All Ocean Studios feature a marble bathroom with a separate tub and shower, as well as the convenience of a mini-refrigerator, writing desk, and entertainment center. Many studios feature flat-screen TVs and walkin wardrobes. A private veranda completes the picture, offering awe-inspiring views of the sea and the many destinations along The World’s infinite course.

Two-Bedroom Residences

Designed in a variety of layouts, The World’s Two-Bedroom Residences truly feel like home, with full-size kitchens in most Residences, spacious living and dining areas, marble, en-suite bathrooms in both the master and guest bedrooms, and ample veranda space. All Two-Bedroom Residences feature flat-screen TVs and closet space. Many Two-Bedroom Residences also feature stunning floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

Three-Bedroom Residences

One- and Two-Bedroom Studio Residences

Both our One- and Two-Bedroom Studio Residences combine the intimacy of a studio with the comfort and convenience of a separate living space/kitchenette area, and marble en-suite bathrooms. They also offer the convenience of a mini-refrigerator, writing desk, and entertainment center. Many studios feature flat-screen TVs and walk-in wardrobes. Views can be enjoyed from two or three separate verandas, depending on the Residence layout you choose.

All who enter The World’s Three-Bedroom Residences are welcomed into an inviting foyer, often featuring flooring with hand-laid wood or stone. Equipped with full-size kitchens, filled with premium appliances, three full marble bathrooms, and generous living and veranda space, these Residences offer abundant comfort and luxury. All Three-Bedroom Residences feature flat-screen TVs and closet space. Many of them feature stunning, floor-to-ceiling glass doors and private dressing areas – a select few offer uniquely curved verandas to take in the most breathtaking views on the entire Ship.
