skywalk on the way to railway station. A sound of xylophone notes all around awaking up all your senses. Every step, every moment on the skywalk make you pause from the everyday rustle and hustel of city life and listen to the soothing sound. Cutting of from the city noise. The site was itself the Kharghar Skywalk located near kharghar railway station over mumbai pune national highway. The highlighted part is al most 130m long and 9m wide. The drawing shows sound as a sensorium of the site. The skywalk is usualy not very crowded but there are a lot of surrounding noises.
WalkingPHENOMENONKHARGHAR,MAHARASTRAonaregular
To create the sound sensorium the metal tracks are attached to the roof of the skywalk where the xylophone notes are kept hanging. The metal ball moves on the tracks producing the sound by touching the notes. It creates a continuous loop of the sound and makes the skywalk more lively where people can take a pause from daily routines. The mechanism is made such that where anyone can stay moving the ball again.

Gallery spaces are all about showcasing the work which is in a large Theamount.connectivity between these varied spaces becomes very important to make the public connect with the work which is displayed. The Idea I started working with is to create a Central core to a built, and connectivity between spaces where all the spaces revolve around the central core. The visual connectivity gets created through the core which is an open sky courtyard. The expanse becomes much more transparent and flexible, which will keep the spectator connected throughout the space.

The residency consists of a dining space on the south side with a living area on the first floor and second floor. The workspace for the commercial painters is on the east side with the admin office on the first floor. Bam boo workshops are on the west side which has double delighted walls for good light and ventilation.

The residency is designed for cane artisans and commercial artists. The built form becomes a hub for the city, where people from diffeent communities can come together and witness the work of painters and cane ar tisans and also buy their works. People can come and learn their skills and techniques to create an environment where art can be rthinked and Thereimagined.artisans usually get really less importance for their living space ,they don't really get the luxury for with living space. The approach is towards how the design system allows comfort for the artists throughout the passive strategies and techniques.

the suburban part of Mumbai in Borivali. The site is an almost 6500 Sq m large plot which provided us with several possi bilities. The Big Idea for the project is to keep the existing community alive and to allow the city to access the building as their own. The process started with making the community spaces on all floors of the building. Providing the idea of community to dwellers as there every Theday.play of mass and voids went ahead with the intent of creating com munity spaces vertically. These double-height community spaces promote chance encounters, and communication between the residents and creates a socio-gathering space.

After all the observations, The imagination of home was ‘ home as muti ple thicknesses’ . Because the bada consisted of a lot of gradation in depths and multiplicity in thicknesses . The design process was started by carving the spaces such as windows , sitting spaces etc. The house Is designed at the site and services scheme at charkop Mumbai Maharashtra.
