ENDLESS SUMMER
The main purpose of my project is to use pattern to transmit cheerful and funny sensations and to evoke a vacation state of mind. The objects will be decorated with illustrative patterns. My 3 collections include: Be Tropical: a clothing collection for rainy days; Memphis: a series of ceramic pieces decorated with 80´s inspired patterns, and Made in Spain: a quirky textile collection inspired by my hometown.

CLAIRE NORCROOS Surface Pattern Designer - The Hanging Lanterns Company, UK. Designing repeat and bespoke patterns for wedding stationary and other retail items such as celebratory bunting, name cards and cupcake holders. Preparing artwork on Adobe Illustrator to comply with the constrictions of laser cutting. Advised and contributed to new product development for their Christmas wedding range.
Cliq Designs Ltd. Responding to client briefs and presenting my design ideas at client meetings. Providing textile designs for the company’s interior acoustic panels that were exhibited at ‘Sleep’ Exhibition in the Business Design Centre London in November 2013. Designing all marketing material to accompany the acoustic panels at the exhibition space.
