An exhibition of woven sculptures by artists Anniebell Marrngamarrnga, Seborna Namarnyilk, Yolanda Rostron, Frewa Bardaluna, Samantha Malkudja, Lulu Laradjbi, and Vera Cameron. Since the late 1980s, artists of the Maningrida region have been known for their transformative use of weaving to represent djang* in fibre forms. This exhibition celebrates the some of the leading proponents of this movement which has permeated across the top-end, alongside the next generation of formidable fibre artists.

*Djang is an ongoing, eternal, life-giving transformative power that accounts for every aspect of existence. It also refers to the creation ancestor, the country where spirit resides, and to ceremonial designs and songs that represent that being.
