VELA ART GALLERY AND CAFE BAR
Vela Art Gallery and Cafe Bar is a contemporary art space where you can enjoy good artisan coffee with homemade German cakes and savoury dishes, as well as a glass of wine, bubbly drink or German beer. There is a courtyard at the rear, and wood burners inside for the colder winter months. The owners have created this relaxing and inviting space whilst juggling their busy working lives in the NHS during the week. The shop offers original art for sale but also a range of beautiful gifts inspired by Nordic, German and local design. THE WHITE HORSE RENDHAM
Recently refurbished, the White Horse is an unmissable stop whilst visiting the Suffolk coast. The pub has an excellent reputation for unpretentious, home-cooked food and excellent brewery-fresh beer, as well as good quality coffee, wines and locally produced soft drinks. JUNIPER BARN
Juniper Barn is a café and village shop in the picturesque village of Rendham, Suffolk. Its two self-catering properties can sleep a total of 12 guests. The café offers a full breakfast menu, a tantalising general menu including some sharing platters and hearty, warming soups and soul bowls, as well as a selection of freshly made cakes, scones and sausage rolls. A heated, covered outdoor terrace is a peaceful spot for meeting friends and the shop provides the village and wider area with a handy place to pop in for essentials. With disabled access, baby changing facilities, and water bowls for dogs, everyone is given a warm welcome as it keeps everything ‘creative, artisan and local’.
