There’s a great range of local meat, charcuterie, vegetables, bread and cakes, seasonal British fish and shellfish at A Passion for Seafood, and a tremendous display of sauces, condiments, oils and preserves; many from within a 30-mile radius.

If you pop along at the weekend, you may also enjoy a free tasting or two and engage with some of the producers. And once you’ve filled up the boot of your car, enjoy a coffee or a sandwich in the café on site. Open seven days a week. Pop in or order online.

THE DOG

The Dog is a pretty village pub located in Grundisburgh, just 2 miles from the market town of Woodbridge. Owners Charles and Eilir keep things traditional, with a lovely tiled public bar and cosy log burner, serving 4 real ales from the hand pump or direct from the barrel. The menu majors on seasonal British and Suffolk produce, and you can enjoy a meal in the restaurant or or al fresco, overlooking the village green. Why not pop into their fabulous new deli too…
