Wingfield Barns is tucked away in a beautiful spot in the heart of the Waveney Valley, yet within an easy drive of the county’s Heritage Coast. This unique venue centres around a Grade II listed, timber-framed 16th century barn, with two further historical barns, lovely gardens, and a large car park on site.
Wingfield Barns has charm and romance yet remains informal, relaxed, and welcoming. With the exclusive use of all three barns and the gardens, it offers a blank canvas so you can create the perfect day for your wedding, whether you are looking for country chic or boho festival vibes.

CEREMONIAL BLISS
Wingfield Barns is licensed for weddings in three of the barns as well as offering a package to allow you to have a wedding celebration outside. Plus, St.Andrew's is just a five-minute stroll away if you are wanting a traditional church service. So, whether you are looking for an intimate wedding or a gathering of a 100 guests, we can cater for your wishes from start to finish.

CATERERS
We are very happy to work with your chosen caterers to allow you to have exactly the style of wedding feast you have always imagined and one that fits perfectly with the style of your day. Or, if you prefer, we can recommend a great selection of dedicated caterers who offer locally produced seasonal menus and tantalising packages.
At Wingfield Barns, there is no need to worry about bringing your big day to an early close. With only open countryside around, live bands are welcome and can rock those tunes until 11pm. With amazing acoustics and lighting, evening celebrations at Wingfield Barns always go with a swing, we just ask that carriages are ordered for midnight.
FINISHING TOUCHES
Add extra sparkle with celebratory decorations and make it a night to remember with a photobooth, a casino or even a bucking bronco! We have a great list of suppliers and know from experience which little added extras will make your wedding special.
FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS
If you want your best furry friend to share your wedding day, we’d love to see them, whether it be a dog, a horse or even a llama! We just ask that they have a chaperone to make sure they are well cared for and tucked away before the party starts.
SMALLER WEDDINGS
Our smaller barn is the perfect setting for a more intimate wedding reception. As with all our weddings, you will still have exclusive use of the whole venue to explore and enjoy, but we will make sure your day feels cosy and personal. Please enquire for rates and more details.

We can recommend a wide range of fabulous wedding photographers, florists and other specialist suppliers who are familiar with the set-up at Wingfield Barns. Whatever your style or budget, we will do our best to put you in touch with people who can make your dreams come true.
ACCOMMODATION
When you are ready to call it a night, we are lucky to have a wonderful selection of B&Bs, holiday cottages and country hotels nearby that we can recommend, either for your guests or for your first night as a married couple.
HOW MANY GUESTS DOES WINGFIELD BARNS SEAT?
The main barn can accommodate 10 round tables to seat 100 or 9 round tables with a top table of 10.
Our trestle tables seat 6 on each table and the main barn accommodates 80 banqueting style.
For buffets we can accommodate 125.
CAN WE SUPPLY OUR OWN ALCOHOL?
Yes, the hire fee includes our team taking delivery and storing of wine and soft drinks, however you will need to arrange refrigeration and glasses.
ARE CANDLES AND TEALIGHTS ALLOWED?
Battery powered tealights may be used inside and out, and no containers are necessary.
IS CONFETTI ALLOWED?
Yes bio-degradable confetti and petals are acceptable.
