Tap water is fine for this. #1 PIECE OF HEALTH ADVICE FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR 50’S REGARDING YOUR SPECIALTY? Stay active and learn to manage stress in your life. WHAT FORTHCOMING TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT IN YOUR AREA OF SPECIALTY ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT THAT WILL BENEFIT FUTURE PATIENTS? I am excited about technological advancements in robotic surgery. This has revolutionized the removal of pituitary and adrenal tumors, with minimal risk of complications and much less recovery time than with open procedures. YOUR THOUGHTS ON UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE IN SIX WORDS OR LESS: I think it would be great. STUDYING MEDICINE THEN VS. NOW: WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE? I think there are many more healthcare career options available to young people today. IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME 25 YEARS AND GIVE YOURSELF ONE PIECE OF HEALTH ADVICE, WHAT WOULD IT BE? I would tell my younger self to try to maintain a better work-life balance, as I always struggled with working too much.
