30 skateboarders, 37 degrees Celsius, 300 people in the stands to follow the comp, 4 skateboarders on the podium to get the price and the glory, 50 six packs of beers and 100 bottles of water offered by Blast! Distribution together with the money price. These are the numbers of the second edition of Blast! The Big One that took place last 26th of June at Sociaety Plaza, in the city of Seregno, 30 kms north of Milano. The contest formula was the same as the first edition with every hit composed of 4 skaters who had 10 minutes to skate the street course and 20 more minutes to land tricks down the Big One. Luca Collu got 3rd place with a solid nollie hell shove it, second place for Ivan Inglese who landed a perfect double kickflip and first place for Davi Oliveira with an amazing nollie bs heel. Addicted Skateboarding awards for the best Jam Session in the street couse went to Fabio Montagner. Best all-round skateboarder award went to Filippo Baronello who land, among others, an airwalk fingerflip down the Big One. Most original trick ever seen down the gap. Hi-five Baro. An intense bowl session went down and the “money for tricks” game saw Elmehdi “Elmo” Kontaki and Mattia Turco taking home the best stuff.
