ALLAH The Only One True God َ ْ ت َو َما ِفي ْرض ِ ٱل ِ ٱلس َٰم َٰو َّ وم لَّ ُه َما ِفي ٌ َوم َل تَ أخُ ذُ ُه ِسنَ ة َو َل ن ُ ي ٱلْ َق ُّي ُّ ٱللَّ ُه َ ٓل ِإ َٰل َه ِإ َّل ُه َو ٱلْ َح ٍون ِب َشيء ُ ِيه ْم َو َما خَ لْ َف ُه ْم َو َل ُيح َ يط َ َمن ذَ ا ٱلَّ ِذي َي ْش َف ُع ِع ِ ند ُه ِإ َّل ِب ِإذْ نِ هِ َيعلَ ُم َما َب ْي َن َأ ْي ِد
َ ْ ت َو يم َ ٱل ِ ٱلس َٰم َٰو ُ ي ٱلْ َع ِظ ُّ ِود ُه حِ ْف ُظ ُه َما َو ُه َو ٱلْ َعل ُ رض َو َل َي ُٔـ َّ ِّم ْن عِ لْ ِمهِ ِإ َّل ِب َما َش ٓا َء َو ِس َع كُ ْر ِس ُّي ُه Allah! There is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Ever-Living, All-Sustaining. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He fully knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge—except what He wills to reveal. His Seat encompasses the heavens and the earth, and the preservation of both does not tire Him. For He is the Most High, the Greatest. Al-Baqarah (2): v.255

Ar-Raab The Lord and Cherisher ْ ور ذُ و ٱلْ َّر ْح َمةِ لَ ْو ُي َؤاخِ ذُ ُهم ِب َما كَ َس ُب وا لَ َع َّج َل َ َو َر ُّب ُ ك ٱلْ َغ ُف ْ اب َبل لَّ ُهم َّم ْو ِع ٌد لَّ ن َي ِج ُد وا ِمن ُدونِ هِ َم ْوئِ ًل َ َٱلعذ َ لَ ُه ُم
And your Lord is the Ever-Forgiving, Owner of Mercy. Were He to call them to account for what they earned, surely He would have hastened on their punishment. Instead they have their appointed time beyond which they will find no escape. Al-Kahf (18): v.58

Al-Malik The King
So high above all is Allah, the King, the Truth. And, [O Muhammad], do not hasten with [recitation of] the Qur’an before its revelation is completed to you, and say, “My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” Ta Ha (20): v.114

Al-Maalik The Master and Owner ك ِم َّمن تَ َش ٓا ُء َ ْنز ُع ٱلْ ُمل َ ْك ٱلْ ُملْ كِ تُ ؤتِ ي ٱلْ ُمل َ ُِق ِل ٱللَّ ُه َّم َٰمل ِ َك َمن تَ َش ٓا ُء َوت ير َ َّير ِإن ٌ ى كُ ِّل َشيءٍ َق ِد ٰ َك َعل ُ ََوتُ ِعزُّ َمن تَ َش ٓا ُء َوتُ ذِ ُّل َمن تَ َش ٓا ُء ِب َيدِ َك ٱلْ خ
Say, ‘O Allah, Master of all sovereignty! You give sovereignty to whomever You wish, and strip of sovereignty whomever You wish; You make mighty whomever You wish, and You abase whomever You wish; all good is in Your hand. Indeed You have power over all things. Ali-Imran (3): v.26

Alladhi lahu-Mulk The One to Whom Belongs the Dominion َ ْ ٱلس َٰم َٰوتِ َو ُ ْٱلَّ ِذي لَ ُه ُمل يد ٌ ى كُ ِّل َشيءٖ َش ِه ٰ َٱل ْر ِض َوٱللَّ ُه َعل َّ ك The One to Whom Belongs the Dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. Al Buruj (85): v.9

Indeed the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah. He sends down the rain, and He knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. Luqman (31): v.34

Al-Khabeer The All-Aware O mankind! Indeed We created you from a male and a female, and made you nations and tribes that you may identify yourselves with one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. Al-Hujurat (49): v.13

It is He who sends down upon His Servant (Muhammad) verses of clear evidence that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light. And indeed, Allah is to you Kind and Merciful. Al-Hadid (57): v.9

Do they possess the treasuries of the mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Constant Bestower. Sad (38): v.9

Al-Baseer The All-Seeing ِام ِإلَ ى ٱلْ َم ْس ِجد ِ ى ِب َع ْبدِ هِ لَ ْي ًل ِّم َن ٱلْ َم ْس ِجدِ ٱلْ َح َر ٰ ى َأ ْس َر ٓ ُِس ْب َٰح َن ٱلَّ ذ َْ ير ُ يع ٱلْ َب ِص ُ ٱلس ِم َّ ى ٱلَّ ذِ ى َٰب َركْ نَ ا َح ْولَ ُه لِ نُ ِر َي ُه ِم ْن َء َٰايتِ نَ ٓا ِإنَّ ُه ُه َو ٰ ٱل ْق َص Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing. Al Isra (17): v.1

For every nation there is a direction to which they face (in their prayers). So hasten towards all that is good. Wheresoever you may be, Allah will bring you together (on the Day of Resurrection). Truly, Allah is Able to do all things. Al-Baqarah (2): v.148

Al-Lateef The Most Subtle Shouldn’t the One who created know (His creation)? For He alone is the Most Subtle, All-Aware. Al-Mulk (67): v.14

And when you are greeted, respond with a better greeting or at least similarly. Surely Allah is a vigilant Reckoner of all things. An-Nisa (4): v.86

O humanity! Be mindful of your Lord who created you from a single soul, and from it He created its mate, and through both He spread countless men and women. And be mindful of Allah—in whose name you appeal to one another and honor family ties. Surely Allah is Ever Watchful over you. An-Nisa (4): v.1

Al-Hafeedth The Guardian And indeed Iblis (Satan) did prove true his thought about them, and they followed him, all except a group of true believers. And he (Satan) had no authority over them, except that We might test him, who believes in the Hereafter from him who is in doubt about it. And your Lord is a Guardian over everything. Saba (34): v. 20-21

Al-Mumeet The Creator of Death
O you who believe! Do not be like the unfaithful who say about their brothers who travel throughout the land or engage in battle, “If they had stayed with us, they would not have died or been killed.” Allah makes such thinking a cause of agony in their hearts. It is Allah who gives life and causes death. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do. Ali’ Imran (3): v.156

Al-Qahhar The Prevailer
If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing. Az-Zumar (39): v.4

Al-Qahir The All-Prevailing ًوق عِ َبادِ هِ َو ُي ْر ِس ُل َعلَ ْيكُ م َح َف َظة َ اه ُر َف ِ َو ُه َو ٱلْ َق ٰٓ ََّحت ون ُ ى ِإذَ ا َج ٓا َء َأ َح َدكُ ُم ٱلْ َم َ وت تَ َو َّفتْ ُه ُر ُسلُ نَ ا َو ُه ْم َل ُي َف ِّر ُط He is all-Prevailing over all of His creation, and sends recording-angels, watching over you. When death comes to any of you, Our angels take their soul, never neglecting this duty. Al-An’am (6): v.61

Al-Muqeet The All-Sustainer ًيب ِّمنْ َها َو َمن َي ْش َف ْع َش َٰف َعة ٌ َّمن َي ْش َفع َش َٰف َعةً َح َسنَ ةً َيكُ ن لَّ ُه نَ ِص ً ى كُ ِّل َشىءِ ُّم ِق يتا ٰ َان ٱللَّ ُه َعل َ ََس ِّيئَ ةً َيكُ ن لَّ ُه كِ ْف ٌل ِّمنْ َها َوك
Whoever intercedes for a good cause will have a share in the reward, and whoever intercedes for an evil cause will have a share in the burden. And ever is Allah, over all things, the Sustainer. An-Nisa (4): v.85

Al-Wakil The Disposer of Affairs َٰذلِ كُ ُم ٱللَّ ُه َر ُّبكُ ْم َ ٓل ِإ َٰل َه ِإ َّل ُه َو َٰخلِ ُق كُ ِّل
يل ٌ ِى كُ ِّل َشيءٍ َوك ٰ َوه َو ُه َو َعل ُ ٱع ُب ُد ْ َشيءٖ َف That is Allah, your Lord; There is no god worthy of worship except Him, the Creator of all things, so worship Him. And He is Disposer of all things. Al-An’am (6): v.102

Dhul Jalali wal Ikram The One Possessing Majesty and Honor ام ِ ٱلكْ َر َ ى َو ْج ُه َر ِّب ِ ْ ك ذُ و ٱلْ َج َٰل ِل َو ٰ َو َي ْب َق
And the Face of your Lord, the One possessing Majesty and Honor, will abide forever. Ar-Rahman (55): v27

Al-Wadoud The Most Loving ْ ٱستَ ْغ ِف ُر ود ٌ يم َو ُد ٌ ِوب ٓو ْا ِإلَ ْيهِ ِإ َّن َر ِّبى َرح ُ ُوا َر َّبكُ ْم ثُ َّم ت ْ َو And ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. Indeed, my Lord is Most Merciful, Most Loving. Hud (11): v.90

And I did not create the jinn and the humans except that they worship Me (Alone). I desire no provision from them, nor do I desire that they should feed Me. Indeed it is Allah who is the Provider, the Strong, the Powerful.

Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded. Al-Nahl (16): v.90

َ ْ ب ٱللَّ ُه يم ِ َّٱل ْم َٰث َل لِ لن ٌ ِاس َوٱللَّ ُه ِبكُ ِّل َشىءٍ َعل ُ ورهِ َمن َي َش ٓا ُء َو َي ْض ِر ٰ َور َعل ٌ ُّنَ ٌار ن ِ ُور َي ْه ِدى ٱللَّ ُه لِ ن ٍ ُى ن Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is a niche wherein is a lamp —the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star— lit from a blessed olive tree, neither eastern nor western, whose oil almost lights up, though fire should not touch it. Light upon light. Allah guides to His Light whomever He wishes. Allah draws parables for mankind, and Allah has Knowledge of all things. An-Nur (24): v.35

Say (O Muhammad), “What thing is of most weight in testimony?” Say, “Allah is Witness between me and you. And this Qur’an was revealed to me that I may warn you thereby and whomever it reaches. Do you (truly) testify that with Allah there are other deities?” Say, “I will not testify (with you). “Say, “Indeed, He is but one God, and indeed, I am free of what you associate (with Him).” Al-An’am (7): v.19

O you who have believed, indeed the polytheists are unclean, so let them not approach al-Masjid al-Haram after this year. Should you fear poverty, Allah will enrich you from His bounty if He wills. Indeed, Allah is all-Knowing and all-Wise. At-Taubah (9): v.28

The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies (His reward) for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and All-Knowing. Al-Buqarah (2): v.261

Al-Haqq The Truth ون ِمن َ َِٰذل َ ك ِب َأ َّن ٱللَّ َه ُه َو ٱلْ َح ُّق َو َأ َّن َما َي ْد ُع
