DIRECTOR’S NOTES A Note from the Director: I first saw this show when I was doing my student teaching at Capistrano Valley High in OC under Emily Tucker, a wonderful Drama teacher. Picking what show to do is one of the great challenges of being a Drama teacher. What we choose will be poured over by 50+ kids for months. So how do we choose something worthy? I love this play in so many ways. It‘s so flexible. We were able to truly capture our own vision in this show. It also teaches. This is a fun way to get an introduction to these stories and it might make some folks want to learn more. It‘s also quite difficult. A lot happens in a short amount of time but you’ll see that for yourself. This Drama Department has had a lot of growth and maturation during Covid. The students are leaders, and their skills have been honed by adversity. This team marches toward the goal with love and persistence. Our management team, crew, designers, Thespians, and Tech Theatre and Drama 4 classes have been working together for months to make this show possible. I am so proud of them Thank you for coming! We hope you enjoy the show.

-Justin Tracy
