Digital artists don’t have a way to connect with each other Creatives don’t have a way to connect and collaborate with their local community, not-for-profit organisations, businesses and local government.
HYPOTHESIS
I believe that if tech-conscious creatives have an easy way to connect with their local art community, partner up with businesses or join collaborative projects they will increase personally and professionally as well as their community.

ACTIVITY
He researchs online to find events, go to facebook, then evenbrite then goes to meetup.com
He eventually finds and event, book an art related event In Melbourne, It’s a drawing class.
In the art class, he meets an art teacher who is working on new techniques to teach in her disability art class, so her students get more involved in their projects. They interchange phone numbers for a future collab.
He ends up doing a collaboration class with his new contact as a way of learning teaching skills. At the end Thomas,, the teacher and the alumni is very happy with the result.
After his participation in his local community months ago, he got offer to curate the new alumni final exhibition.
• Too many unreliable platforms to search for local event • Too much time spent on just looking
• He is unsure what to expect from the event • He doesn’t learn anything new cause he know how to draw he just signed up to meet people • He is introvert so is hard for him to talk to people
• He doesn’t know what to expect from his new contact • Takes a lot of time to his new friend to comeback to him • He doesn’t know what he will receive in exchange for his skills
• He is afraid of teaching • He doesn’t know the impact of his new collaboration
• So much time happen since he tried to help his community that he will think twice to do another collaboration, cause isn’t easy.
PAINPONTS
A
EXPERIENCE
OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT
• One platform to look for art related events • Suggestion for other things rather than events, could be workshops, projects, business, etc
• Now beforehand your other collaborators, potential clients etc so you can do a research on what to talk • Get notifications of the benefits of giving back, long term rewards
• Shorten the timeframes to do the collaboration. • Know before hand the project you are about to be involved • Get community points, stars, medals
• Know the impact of your collaboration beforehand • Tell you how many skills you can gain because of this action.
• Get feedback from your friends

FEEDBACK, CHANGES
I don’t know why I’m selecting this now, will this change my experience later in the app, can I change my selection later?
I am on “art section”, which might be other people’s art, or it could be mine since I choose “creative” option earlier.
I could find were to collaborate but the text was a bit unclear weather I was creating my own projects for other to collaborate on, or searching for an existing one.
