Espacios Entrelazados translated to “ intertwined spaces“ is hollow residential block located in the Lavapiés district of Madrid. The mixed program of this complex is divided into two buildings, the larger includes a gymnastics gym, weightlifting and boxing facilities, a spa auditory isolated in the excavated slope of the site. Glass Garden Northeastern University Spring 2019, Urban Institutions - Murfield Preforming Arts School South End, Boston MA
This preforming Arts school Located in Boston's South end is designed to facilitate a visual pathway connecting the green spaces capping the South-East and North-West ends of the site using columns and penetrating trees to continue the rhythmic pattern of tree trunks produced in the parks. The program of the school is divided into the four houses Academic, Administration, Music & Dance and Theater. The public and performative program of each house occupies the ground floor while all of the private and practice spaces occupy the bridging masses above. All houses meet in the middle in the largest bridging mass which encases the student lounge and free space. Students and faculty are visually oriented inward towards the heart of the structure isolating views of the larger Boston area and creating an intimate community oriented experience above ground to be owned exclusively by school attendees.

Geode
Northeastern University Fall 2018, Site, Space & Program - Lipschitz Community Recreation Center Boston MA
This Re-Center is an extruded site footprint that has been strategically carved out to reveal geode like geometric voids that align with approaching pubic circulation paths, intended to accentuate the transition and polarity between the thickly settled urban fabric on East side and the expansive landscape of railway infrastructure and Boston skyline to the West.

Facade Mapping Northeastern University Fall 2018, Site, Space & Program - Lipschitz Boston Public Library Extension Branch Massachusetts Avenue, Boston MA
CONCEPT DIAGRAM
My library presents a sectional map of the key elements of its interior program in the form of gently projected sculptural mass zig-zagging up the face of the building; interrupting the otherwise purely glass facade of the library. This winding figure is then projected down into plan to narrate the diagonal circulatory pattern on each floor with the purpose of experientially distorting the long orthogonal envelope of the building.

Model Photo of roof topography
SharedPassage Two residencies, buried into a sloping site, with roofs ending at grade. The topography seized by the footprint of the building is reinstated by allowing the hill beyond to flow onto the roof-scape and into the second floor bedrooms. Separating the two homes is a winding void with individual courtyard spaces carved out along the walkway allowing for natural light to permeate the interior space and creating intimate outdoor environments for the individual homes at ground level. All additional light is filtered in through exaggerated sculptural skylights that narrate the roof-scape and illuminate the major interior program below.
