Associate Product Manager Summary: An Associate Product Manager assists the Product Manager in achieving current and long-term volume and financial goals for a line of retail products through: Analysis and management of: Volume, profit, spending objectives and trade initiatives; Consumer, customer, and competitive landscapes; Projects/research aimed at providing category insights; New products and line extensions. Management of business development initiatives: Optimize product offerings (e.g. distribution, price, and packaging); Initiatives to reduce cost of goods; Inventory management; Participate in the development of marketing plans. REQUIREMENTS: Education: BS in marketing or other business-related field required; MBA preferred. Experience: Three years marketing experience preferred (or combination of MBA and other work experience); Consumer packaged goods environment preferred. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate computer skills required. Special Skills: Strong leadership, thinking and problem solving, priority setting, and teamwork skills; creativity and innovation; ability to act assertively, take initiative, and follow through as an owner of the business; desire to make a difference in both the business and culture; passionate to understand and represent the needs of our consumers and customers.
