Job Description: SOS International Ltd. (SOSi) is seeking a Subject Matter Expert Intelligence analyst to perform analysis, reporting, research, and dissemination of information with regards to Afghanistan stability measures including IMINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT products. Essential Job Duties: • Researches, analyzes, and publishes all source political and military analysis and intelligence products in support of operationally deployed forces in the CENTCOM area • Organizes multiple research projects to sustain daily intelligence briefings, defense threat assessments, specific area knowledge briefs, and analytical support for military operations • Conducts comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the government’s missions • Develops and provides intelligence products related to economic and political activities, foreign military actions, and regional stability threats • Develops and presents all source briefings to the Combatant Commander, and other senior defense officials • Develops standards for research and report writing, reviews intelligence reports, and mentors analysts • Prepares and presents intelligence assessments and briefings to customers • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Minimum Requirements: • Candidates will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet current eligibility requirements for access to SCI classified information; US citizenship required. • Master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience; OR 20 years of relevant experience • Academically experienced in cultural, religious, political, geo-political, military/natural/physical/social/behavioral sciences or other post-graduate subject areas • Ability to conduct post-graduate level research and analysis • Ability to provide documentations, recommendations, briefings and finished reports to assist in the resolution of difficult and complex problems • Widely known and highly regarded within their respective academic and/or professional communities • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to manage confidential information • Ability to organize and prioritize work • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment • Knowledge of the intelligence cycle Additional Information: Work Environment: • Personnel will work in harsh and austere locations in Afghanistan • Ability to lift and/or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs • Work environment is often stressful and detail-oriented
