INTELLIGENCE COLLECTION MANAGER AFGHANISTAN THE JOINT DEPLOYABLE INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT SYSTEMS JOINT PROGRAM OFFICE (JDISS JPO) REQUIRES EXPERIENCED COLLECTION MANAGEMENT SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS (SME), ON-SITE FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF DEPLOYED JDISS CMMA BASELINES TO CENTCOM AT TAMPA, WITH ROTATIONS INTO AFGHANISTAN. SELECTION AND EMPLOYMENT CRITERIA: Active Top Secret clearance based on an SBI. Collection Management Experience ISR Experience Collection Mission Management Applications (CMMA) experience. Planning Tool for Resource Integration, Synchronization, and Management (PRISM) experience. Experience with Flight Control / Flight Enterprise Experience with PSAS-M Training/teaching experience. BS in systems engineering, computer science, or an information technology discipline from an accredited university. Four years operational experience may be a substitute for the degree. Excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently overseas with no on-site company support or supervision. Additional Desired: 3 years experience with UNIX (Solaris) system administration. Ability to install, configure and trouble shoot basic networking services, such as TCP/IP and SMTP. Training/teaching experience. Configuration and administration experience with Sun, PC, and printer hardware. Prior DGS or AOC experience. Prior experience with on-site operational support. Prior experience with end user training. Microsoft, Sun, Cisco certifications. Any Foreign Language Skills DUTIES: Providing on-site and off-site Collection Management user training to ISAF personnel Developing written documentation in support of CMMA training initiatives. Working with JDISS Operations personnel to resolve customer trouble tickets. Providing CMMA demonstrations to commands/organizations within CENTCOM. Submitting travel requests, trip reports, student rosters, and training feedback forms to JDISS JPO. Providing Weekly Activity Report (WAR) input to JDISS JPO Training Services Lead. Maintaining proficiency on JDISS Collection Mission Management Applications.


Identifying and maintaining awareness of collection management issues identified by ISAF and JDISS JPO customers. The candidate must be a self-starter with a robust knowledge of collection management processes. This position will require travel to JDISS customer sites around the world. Other responsibilities of the candidate include: A liaison between the CENTCOM, ISAF, and JDISS JPO, via the JDISS Operations Division. Coordinates support to other remote sites IN ACCORDANCE WITH JPO and CENTCOM standard operating procedures, to include periodic rotations to Afghanistan. Works with JDISS Engineering to model technical infrastructure characteristics using the archived information described above, in order to plan enhancements that improve the quality of service for CENTCOM and ISAF Assists JDISS Engineering by coordinating the use of the ISAF site as a real world test bed, as appropriate, to gain immediate customer feedback and suggestions for improving CMMA baselines. Travels to the JPO facility in Suitland, Maryland as well as other areas directed by CENTCOM for familiarization, training, and updating of their knowledge as it pertains to JDISS baselines and collection mission applications Provides trip reports for all off-site activities Maintains frequent contact with the JDISS Field Engineering Manager, by telephone or e-mail, to ensure that all issues are handled in a timely manner The Field Engineer position has been identified as 'mission critical'. As such, the Field Engineer shall adhere to all DoD directives and policies, such as Anthrax vaccinations and the use of Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) gear as directed
