This is work is in support of AFCESA (Air Force Civil Engineer Support Agency). This work will be performed at Tyndall AFB, FL (about 10 miles from Panama City, FL).
Key Role: Assess the suitability of advanced power-trains, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, electric, and fuelcell vehicles and alternative fuels, such as electricity, natural gas, and biofuels for specific applications in the light, medium, and heavy duty vehicle sectors. Devise strategies and plans for the implementation of advanced vehicles and alternative fuels, including planning for fueling infrastructure and vehicle maintenance. Model emissions and cost implications of advanced vehicle adoption. Analyze federal and state policy affecting the energy and environmental impact of transportation.
Requirements
An active Secret security clearance issued by DoD.
At least 10 years of experience with design and construction management on projects for Air Force fueling systems.
Engineering and Project Management experience of complex and highly technical, Air Force Fuels Systems.
Technical Writing and Evaluation of complex and highly technical, Air Force Fuels Systems proposals.
Construction project scheduling, e.g. MS Project and Primavera.
Planning and programming of appropriated funded Air Force Fuels Systems.
Experience in preparation of professional architect-engineer contracts for Air Force Fuels Systems.
Air Force Instructions, Engineering Technical Letters, API requirements, Unified Facilities Criteria, Pamphlets and Handbooks.
Cost Estimating Methodology and development.
Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physical science from an accredited college or university in the 50 States.
PE in one of 50 states or a US territory.
