Financial Manager for USAF Do you have previous experience supporting Government financial programs? Would you like to live and work on the west coast of sunny Florida? We are currently seeking Financial manager to support fuel systems facility projects for the USAF. This work will be performed at Tyndall AFB just outside of Panama City, FL. This is an 18-month contract (6-month base period plus one option year), and if selected you would be a W2 employee of our company. Full benefits are available.
Responsibilities •
Assist the Government Financial Manager (GFM) with various aspects of financial management to support Government financial programs by ensuring commitments and obligations are properly recorded for all commodities. Ensure all financial documents associated with these programs are properly completed by the required suspense date.

Assist the GFM with oversight to budget planning and execution; respond to internal and external inquiries; develop documents for internal and external customers; prepare budget execution reports; query and analyze databases; and resolve funding execution discrepancies.

Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting processes.
•
Assist the Government with compiling, analyzing, documenting, and providing management integrated revenue and expense analyses as directed by the GFM.
•
Assist the GFM with reviews of incoming and outgoing funds and funding documents consistent with AFCESA Funds Control requirements. Record all transactions accordingly in AFCESA’s Operational Awareness Database (OAD).
Requirements •
Must have an active Secret security clearance issued by the DoD.
•
Must be a US citizen.
•
Possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Accounting or Business Administration.
•
Versed in Fiscal Law (Congressional Appropriations and Authorizations).
•
Knowledgeable of DoD and Air Force financial management processes, procedures, and regulations to include the DoD Financial Management Regulation and Government Line of Accounting.
•
Experience using Financial Management Software: Electronic Document Access (EDA), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Commander’s Resource Integration System (CRIS), Automated Business Services System (ABSS).
•
Experience with Financial Funding Documents: AF Form 616, “Fund Cite Authorization (FCA)”, DD Form 448, “Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR),” Operating Budget Authority/Accounting Document (OBAD).
•
Experience with VPN connection software.
•
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
