Hello I am Alan Preizer the recruiter for Kuwait Based Training Team (KBTT)-MPRI and I am contacting you to see if you would like to be considered for Observer Controller positions (in Kuwait). If you are an active duty Service member, I can’t immediately you but you may be considered for future opportunities. Enlisted may work on terminal leave; Officers may not. Reserve Officers and Guard may work unless they are serving on active duty.

This program will support all training and training related tasks at specifically designated times and locations within the USCENTCOM AOR for U.S. military combat, combat support and combat service support elements, host nation forces, or coalition forces in order to prepare soldiers, leaders and units for military operations. While the USCENTCOM AOR is made up of 20 countries, for this effort USARCENT will have a fulltime presence in Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan and will likely support operation or training exercises in Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and Egypt. Other countries that may require training team support include: Lebanon, Pakistan, Qatar, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Yemen. The subcontractor is expected to be able to provide sustainment training for units in USCENTCOM AOR, support Theater Security Cooperation Training and Exercises and contingency training. You will travel to CRC enroute to Kuwait with follow-on travel IF REQUIRED at the direction of the KOCT PM. Certain reimbursable expenses may be incurred during travel. You must be able to defer these expenses in order to be eligible for travel. The PM (COL Retired Larry Burch) will be selecting individuals for key position within this team with report dates beginning in April and finishing NLT 1 June. A Residency Visa (Visa 18 / Work Permit) is required by the Kuwait Government to work in the State of Kuwait and is a condition of your employment on this contract. You will be required to attend CRC, you must meet the medical and security requirements of the CRC. CRC Medical Requirements. The CRC must certify you for deployment to be eligible for this position. A physical examination that is less than 12 months old will be acceptable. Medical clearance for civilian contractors to CENTCOM has become very stringent. If you have one of the conditions listed that will prevent you from deploying, please let us know ASAP. Unfortunately, if you do and it is not waiverable,


we will have to remove you from consideration. Recently, we are seeing some recurring issues that have prevented employees from deploying. These issues:  Sleep Apnea (Waiver possible)  PTSD (Waiver possible)  Taking Plavix or similar drug (not deployable)  Current Heart condition (not deployable)  Heart Attack or Stint within the last year (not deployable)  Uncontrolled High Blood Pressure (not deployable)  Diabetes (not deployable depending on type and AIC level)  Body Mass Index (BMI) over 40% (not deployable) You must pass a drug screening. The Kuwaitis will not issue a work permit if you have Swine Flu, TB, or any form of HEP If your Body Mass Index is over 40%, we cannot accept you. Cannot expire within six months of start date; easy to fix before you go. Do you possess a current secret clearance? I will need selected Individuals to be available NLT March. If selected for hire would your desired start month be? Can you commit to a one year term of employment? If you require daily medication, can you obtain at least six months worth before deployment? IF you require regular medical treatments or a special diet will it impede your ability to operate in the austere environment? You may take vacation as mission allows and as you build vacation days. Four days off in every pay period (not charged, think weekend), a pay period is every two weeks. Two months out of the year have three pay periods. Currently Quarters consist of one man rooms on Camp Yankee in trailer type buildings. Camp Yankee is located 15KMs south of K-Crossing (along MSR Aspen) into Iraq. Closet US base is 20 mins to the Southeast (Camp Buehring). This position requires the physical stamina to work long hours on your feet in 100+ degree desert weather. Long days spent in tactical military uniform training service members. Living conditions are small rooms in a temporary trailer type structure. Military grooming standards are required. Bottled water and ice are provided. There are showers and self-service laundry facilities on camp. Recreation amenities consist of an internet café, a small gym, TV room with the Armed Forces Network (AFN) satellite TV and some books. Employees are provided a mailbox with key to receive mail directly at the camp. Limited civilian transportation is available for runs to military camps and civilian establishments. Rations are an employee’s responsibility, employees may eat on all US installations (Dining Facilities require and Eagle Cash Card), local economy, or buy and cook food in room.

a. BN Task Force Senior Observer Controller 2 Positions i. Former LTC or above Army/USMC (staff and command experience) required. ii. CTC experience preferred. iii. Must be Combat Arms/Operations with a strong tactical background in Full Spectrum Operations. iv. HBCT/CAV background preferred. v. MEL 4 vi. Must have a SECRET clearance. b. BN Task Force XO 1 Position, Task Force S3 2 Positions i. Former MAJ or above Army/USMC (staff and command experience) required. ii. CTC experience preferred. iii. Must be Combat Arms/Operations with a strong tactical background in Full Spectrum Operations. iv. HBCT/CAV background preferred. v. MEL 4 vi. Must have a SECRET clearance c. BCT/BN Staff Officer Observer Controllers, S1 OC (2 Positions), S4 OC (1 Position), BN Fires (1 Position), Info Ops (1 Position) i. Former E-9 or MAJ or above with over 20 years experience. ii. Tactical and Operational level experience and background. iii. Former BN and or BDE S-1, S-2,S-4,S6,S5, FSO, Info Ops, CHEMO will be considered. iv. Knowledgeable in Full Spectrum Operations with emphasis in COE principles and fundamentals. v. Recent experience in Iraq or Afghanistan Desired vi. Combat Training Center or the USMC equivalents are desired but not necessary. vii. Must have a SECRET clearance. d. Company/Team Senior Observer Controllers 3 Positions for Armor CO Senior i. Former CPT/CSM or above Army/USMC (staff and command experience) Desired. ii. CTC experience preferred. iii. Must be Combat Arms/Operations with a strong tactical background in Full Spectrum Operations. iv. HBCT/CAV background preferred. v. MEL 3 vi. Must have a SECRET clearance e. Company/Team 1SG/XO r Observer Controllers 1 Positions for Armor 1SG i. Former 1SG/CSM or above Army/USMC (staff and command experience) Desired. ii. CTC experience preferred. iii. Must be Combat Arms/Operations with a strong tactical background in Full Spectrum Operations.


iv. HBCT/CAV background preferred. v. MEL 3 vi. Must have a SECRET clearance f.

Company/Team FSO Observer Controllers 5 Positions for CO FSO i. Former SFC or above Army/USMC (staff and command experience) Desired. ii. CTC experience preferred. iii. Must be FA Forward Observer with a strong tactical background in Full Spectrum Operations. iv. Must have a SECRET clearance

g. Armor Platoon Level Observer Controllers 6 Positions i. A Former Combat Arms U.S. Army or USMC SFC (E-7)/Platoon Sergeant/Gunnery Sergeant or Higher ii. CTC experience preferred. iii. Must be Combat Arms/Operations with a strong tactical background in Full Spectrum Operations. iv. HBCT/CAV background preferred. v. Must have a SECRET clearance
