Training Developer Training Travel: 10% Location: Reston, VA Apply on-line at www.wexfordgroupjobs.com Responsibilities The Wexford Group International is currently seeking experienced Training and Curriculum Developers to develop hands on and web-based training for conventional and SOF entities as well as Interagency and International partners. Primary development focus will be on courseware designed to teach intelligence processes to Counter-IED Operations and Intelligence Integrators assigned to the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). This training will provide individuals with the ability to fuse operations and intelligence information in an effective, seamless process in order to increase their analysis and targeting of enemy networks that employ Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). Detailed Responsibilities: The Training Developer will provide hands-on and web-based lessons to training cadre who will assist in internal training of JIEDDO personnel as well as training members of deploying units and selected Interagency/International partners. Training and lessons will focus on the use of a broad range of tools, methodologies and datasets in order to develop greater fidelity of enemy networks employing IEDs based on several DOD and IC secret and top secret networks. The successful training developer should be able to: - Utilize the Army Systems approach to training in order: - Conduct a needs analysis to determine training requirements. - Conduct a critical task analysis on the identified training need and develop a critical task list from that analysis. - Design specific training based on the resulting analysis. - Develop, design and produce specific training support products. - Develop specific training products and courseware on both SIPRNET and JWICs DOD networks. - Develop multi-media courseware exportable to remote locations. - Demonstrate familiarity with intelligence applications such as Analyst Notebook, Palantir, Google Earth, ARCGis, and other applications
This position may require some domestic and international travel, some of which may include short deployments to combat zones. Experience and Education: Required: This position requires the ability to obtain and hold a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. (Resume must show that proposed employee currently holds a TS clearance with previous access to SCI level of information.) A BA/BS degree with 5 years of relevant experience. 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement. This experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above. Strongly Desired: Graduate of the Training Development Middle Managers Course. Graduate of the US Army Interactive Multimedia Instruction Developer多s Workshop. Preferred: Experience conducting planning or operations in a Joint, Interagency, or International environment (such as an Interagency Task Force, ISAF staff, NATO, etc.). Formal certification or documented practical experience providing classroom training with established POIs. Graduate of the Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC) or service equivalent. Graduate of the US Army Senior Training Managers Course or other Service equivalent. Recent experience in the Iraq or Afghanistan theaters of operations.
