Training Subject Matter Expert - Operations Training Travel: 10 - 30% Location: Multiple (CA, HI, KS, LA, NC, VA, and Germany) Apply on-line at www.wexfordgroupjobs.com Responsibilities The Wexford Group International is currently seeking Operations Training SMEs to serve as members of a unique, multi-discipline team providing training assistance to U.S. forces as well as Interagency and International partners. Training will focus on providing Operations and Intelligence Integrators with the ability to fuse operations and intelligence information in an effective, seamless process in order to enhance their effectiveness against enemy networks that employ Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). The Operations Training SME will assist in internal training of organization personnel as well as training members of deploying units and selected Interagency/International partners. Training will focus on the use of a broad range of tools, methodologies and datasets in order to develop greater fidelity of enemy networks employing IEDs. The Operations Training SME should be able to train operations integrators to: - Prioritize, categorize and scope requests for information and requests for support. - Conduct near term analyses of device and network-centric threats. - Integrate JIEDDO-COIC tools, data, and personnel into Corps, Division, or Brigade-level Mission Readiness Exercises. - Advise Commanders on the integration of JIEDDO-COIC C-IED products and intelligence into their operational and planning cycles. - Advise Commanders in the identification, training and integration of JIEDDO IED defeat technologies into their mission planning and operations. - Assist Commanders with the development of a full spectrum strategy to combat IEDs that is based upon analysis of current enemy intelligence, an analysis of the enemyÂ’s Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) and a thorough understanding of unit operations and capabilities. The Operations Training SME must have the ability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications. The Operations Training SME should have the ability to perform tasks with the following web-based intelligence tools, software, and databases: Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, SIPR, and JWICS.
Successful applicants must possess strong oral and writing skills, experience working with multidiscipline teams, and the ability to develop and provide advanced instruction to a diverse range of students via a wide range of mediums. This position may require recurring domestic and international travel to include deploying to combat zones. The applicant may be called upon to support 24-hour watch operations. Experience and Education: Required: This position requires the ability to obtain and hold a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. (Resume must show that proposed employee currently holds a TS clearance with previous access to SCI level of information.) A BA/BS degree with 5 years of relevant experience. 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement. This experience should demonstrate the ability to meet the duties described above. Applicants must be fully deployable to the required theater of operations, wear uniforms as prescribed by the supported unit commander, and bear arms as prescribed by the supported unit commander. Strongly Desired: Post-9/11 experience conducting deployed operational staff work at the tactical or operational level (Battalion or Brigade or equivalent). Recent combat arms experience in the Iraq or Afghanistan theaters of operations. Graduate of the Total Army Instructor Training Course (TAITC) or service equivalent. Preferred: Post-9/11 experience as an Observer-Controller at one of the Joint Training Centers (National Training Center, Joint Readiness Training Center, or the Joint Multinational Readiness Center) Exercise development experience with BCTP, JFCOM, TRADOC, or equivalent organizations. Experience conducting planning or operations in a Joint, Interagency, or International environment (such as an Interagency Task Force, ISAF staff, NATO, etc.). Formal certification or documented practical experience providing classroom training with established POIs. Graduate of the US Army Senior Training Managers Course or other Service equivalent.
