“Calling all Veterans” Resource Event Local veterans and disabled veterans can learn about starting a business, procurement opportunities, financing for business, veterans resources and benefits, and veterans’ educational benefits at Jefferson Community College. Networking and 10-minute advising appointments will be available. The “Calling All Veterans” Resource Event will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Watertown, New York at Jefferson Community College. This event is presented by the NYS Small Business Development Center along with local partners including the New York Business Development Corporation, Jefferson Community College, the Veteran Service Agency and Vet Center. The event will be held from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm. There is no cost for veterans but preregistration is required by March 21, 2012. Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. Contact Ann or Robin at the SBDC to make the arrangements.
