Wrecker Instructor Company: Bering Straits Logistics Services, LLC (BSLS) Job Type: Full Time Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Location: Red River Army Depot TX US 75501 Education: Certification Category: Logistics/Transportation Primary Function: Bering Straits Logistics Services, LLC (BSLS) is seeking Wrecker Instructors for an anticipated work with Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle Mobile Training Teams (MTT) at Red River Army Depot (RRAD), Texarkana, TX. Multiple positions are available on the Mobile Training Team for Wrecker Instructors. The Wrecker Instructor travels as required. ***Position is contingent upon contract award*** The Wrecker Instructors will be part of the Mobile Training Team that provides Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) New Equipment Training (NET) in vehicle towing and recovery efforts. Towing services provide for the transport of inoperable motor vehicles from one location to another (typically a repair facility). Recovery services are performed on location of the inoperable vehicle to make the vehicle operable. Specific courses include Operator and Field Level Maintenance (OPNET and FLMNET, respectively), and Operator and Field Level Maintenance Delta Courses (OPNET Delta and FLMNET Delta, respectively), as well as Field Level Maintenance (FLM) services directly related to MRAP vehicles used for training at various Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) locations including (but not limited to): Kuwait, Hawaii, Alaska, Germany, Guam, Japan, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy and Denmark. Must be graduates of MRAP University and hold Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) certifications. o Submit a copy of the MRAP University Operator Training Certificate and Maintenance Training Certificate. o Submit a copy of the ABIC certificate. Must have three (3) years of MRAP Wrecker Experience OR shall have obtained ONE of the following certifications: (a) Skill Identifier of Hotel 8 (H8) from the Army (b) Military Occupational Specialty 3536 (MOS 3536). o Submit certificates. Must be capable of passing U.S. Army's Continental United States Replacement Center (CRC) training and medical requirements (see attached). High School Diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate required. Must be CLASS B, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) qualified. Must hold a valid CLASS B CDL prior to assuming MTT duties.

Must be qualified and skilled in the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair functions required to provide Field Level Maintenance (FLM) to the MRAP Family of Vehicles (FOV), FLM to the MRAP FOV, and return the MRAP FOV to a 10/20 status as defined in Army Regulation 750-1, Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services. The Wrecker Instructor travels as required. Perform other related duties as required.

Reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations. As a condition of employment, candidates must have acceptable background check results and pass a pre-employment drug screening. This position will be subject to random drug and/or alcohol testing on an unannounced basis. Willing to travel to OCONUS locations as required.
