Courage is daring to be brave and bold while staying at home. Since your life at home has changed dramatically, how often do you question your thoughts, your actions, or your motives to do something different? When you don’t exercise the ability to test yourself, you may lose not only your confidence, but more importantly you may lose the ability to make necessary decisions. Know yourself and how it affects your family, relatives and friends. Not many
people experience life the way they wish it to be. As such, if things don’t work out the way you want, don’t find someone else to blame. Courage is knowing what you want, then finding out what you need to do to make it happen. Ask yourself questions about your decorating skills. Then compare your ideas of what you wish to change, to what your budget is for making any changes. After all, having a home filled with items that give you contentment or

joy, requires you to know yourself and what seems best for you. If you wish to redecorate your home during these times of stress and worry, courage is most important. Now you must learn to deal with the challenges that have now happened without it being anyone’s fault. When working through this new challenge, find your inner strength. Challenges give you a good tool for redecorating your home with self-confidence and a new sense of self-worth. You and the home you live in are important. If you wish to redecorate, don’t let negative thoughts get in the way of your progress in doing just that. There’s something inside each of us that fuels our motivation, our passion, and our reason to live as best we can. Keep encouraging yourself to take the necessary steps to boost your confidence. That is important. That is what’s needed now. Make a list of what you wish to redecorate. Do you need new storage shelves? Do you wish to highlight one room by including a set of hanging candle sconces? What about adding a decorative mirror or wall clock? Any number of new home décor items will serve your cravings and fulfill your redecorating challenges. And while in the midst of redec-
orating, practice peaceful thinking. With a dash of confidence and a good measure of gratitude, you will then be working on filling your life with courage. Remember, you are important, and all others are equally as important. Look around your home now. Is it what you wish it to look like? Is everything in its proper place? Or, are you comfortable with the way each item is displayed and used? Who’s to know or say what you place where in your own home, or whether your walls lack any visible artwork. You are the master, right? When you are ready to change or add new home décor items to the spaces in your living room, your kitchen, bedroom or bathroom, the details are up to you. So, what would you change or add first? Go for what pleases you most or what’s important to you that may need changing now. What do the items in your home say about who you are?

Are you tried of looking at the same bare walls? Try hanging a mirror with an unusual and elegant shape. This may be just the thing to add an atmosphere of bold charm and also highlight that side of the room. Or you can light up a dark corner of the living room with a beautiful candle holder sconce that will create a cheery mood. Other types of lighting like hanging lanterns or a pair of decorative candle holder lights will provide brightness in dark spaces. More unique and decorative home décor designs that you won’t find in everyone else’s home are hanging wall planters or decorative storage bins and shelves. Not only are the wall planters pleasing to the eye, they are a different way for
those of you with a “green thumb” to show off your skills. Keeping growing plants and flowers that are displayed in attractive holders will grab attention. Storage bins are useful and indispensable when you wish to conceal private papers and are suitable for keeping other items out of sight. Storage shelves come in many unique styles and can highlight a favorite spot. Shelving gives attention to certain areas of a room and will make a huge difference. Distinctive details of many home décor designs can make your individual taste and creative ability stand out. When you are the one doing the redecorating, choose your items wisely. Only you know what excites you and what seems best for every room, every wall and every space and corner. Placing each item where and how comes withhe details. Make them count! Plants, plants, plants. A plant creates a natural ambience to the room. It will connect you to nature, create a green healthy-looking space and look great next to an artwork center piece. I would say an Aloe vera plant is a ‘no brainer.’ It looks stunning but it also has amazing health properties. If you have sunburn or slap cheek, then put some of the aloe vera juices on your skin and it will feel noticeably better.
