CITY OF LISBON (full day) In our full day wheelchair accessible Lisbon tour, we will take you to discover the essential of the capital of Portugal: Lisbon, the city of the seven hills. We depart from the hotel for a drive to the Belém area, centre of the great maritime discoveries in the 15th and 16th centuries. There, we’ll have a short stop at the Belém Tower. At the Jerónimos Monastery, we will visit the gothic Church and its gardens. Then it’s time to make a stop at the Fábrica dos Pastéis de Belém, a very famous pastry where you’ll have the opportunity to taste the delicious cakes. After the coffee-break, we will drive along the River Tagus towards Baixa de Lisboa (downtown Lisbon). Here we will stop and you will have some free time for shopping and walking in the pedestrian street Rua Augusta. After lunch, the meeting point will be at Praça do Comércio. In the afternoon, we will take you to the Parque das Nações, which was the exhibition grounds for the Expo 98. We will visit the Lisbon Oceanarium.

LISBOA, SINTRA & CASCAIS (fd) SINTRA - We will take you to explore the small downtown with its traditional handicraft and wine shops. We will make a stop for a coffee-break at one of the local coffee shops in order to taste the traditional pastries of this area. CASCAIS - On our way back to Lisbon will be driven through the Marginal, a 30 kms road along the sea and the River Tagus. You will enjoy the relaxing sea view of the Lisbon Coast and admire the landscape of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. As part of this magnificent scenery, we will pass the Guincho beach, the Boca do Inferno and the gardens of the Estoril Casino. LISBOA - In the afternoon, we will drive along the River Tagus towards Baixa de Lisboa (downtown Lisbon). Here we will stop for a visit and allow you with some free time for shopping or walking in the pedestrian street Rua Augusta.

ARRÁBIDA (full day) This tour privileges the beauty of landscapes and nature. We will cross bridge 25 de Abril from where you will have a magnificent sight and a whole new perspective over Lisbon and the south bank of the Tagus river. The first stop will be at Cabo Espichel, where the sight over the coast, with its cliffs diving into the blueness of the Atlantic Ocean. We will go on to Sesimbra and visit its imponent castle looking over the ocean and the beautiful natural reserve of Serra da Arrábida reigned by all the splendour you may find in nature. Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant, in front of the sea, where you can eat excellent grilled fresh fish or shellfish, and from where you can see Setúbal, its bay and the Peninsula of Troia. Returning to Lisbon, we will go to Cristo Rei statue from where you can sightsee the entire city of Lisbon.

At the Jerónimos Monastery (UNESCO World Heritage Site), we will visit the gothic Church (a masterpiece of the Portuguese Manueline style, developed by D.Manuel I) and its gardens. Then it’s time to make a stop at the Fábrica dos Pastéis de Belém, a very famous pastry where you’ll have the opportunity to taste the delicious cakes, typical from this area. After the coffee-break, we will drive along the River Tagus in direction of the Baixa de Lisboa (downtown Lisbon). Here we will stop for a visit and allow you some free time for shopping or walking in the pedestrian street Rua Augusta.

LISBOA, SINTRA & CASCAIS (hd) In our half-day tour to Lisbon Coastline, we will take you to discover the charming village of Cascais and the Guincho Beach (European beach renowned for windsurfing). Along the way you can admire the landscape of the SintraCascais Natural Park. The return will be made on the Marginal Avenue where we will pass through the gardens of the Estoril Casino, enjoying the relaxing view of the sea and the Tagus river.

ÓBIDOS AND NAZARÉ (full day) ÓBIDOS - This tour on the most western region of Portugal will start by a visit to Óbidos. This medieval village it’s still surrounded by imposing walls and protected by a small castle. Inside the walls, you will have landscape of small alleys and churches with more than 500 years old. In Óbidos you will have to taste the “Ginjinha”, a local liqueur in a small chocolate glass!!! NAZARÉ - This is a very traditional fishing village with a beautiful sandy beach. On the top of the hill there is the shrine to Our Lady of Nazaré: A place that D. Vasco da Gama visited before going to India in 1496.

FÁTIMA, BATALHA & ALCOBAÇA (fd) Considered one of the biggest Marion Sanctuaries in the world, Fatima became well known because of the Apparitions of Our Lady in 1917. Nowadays, millions of pilgrims make their way to Fatima every 13th from May till October, in order to pay their promises and strengthen their faith. After the visit to the Sanctuary which is completely adapted for wheelchairs we will go to Aljustrel where you can visit the houses of the little shepherds, and Arneiros well which is where the Angel of peace appeared to the shepherds in 1916.
