Organizational Transformation Expert Keith Phillips Joins Atlas Research - Top News

learn lean logistics WASHINGTON, April 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --?Keith Phillips recently joined Atlas Research as a senior vice president and a subject matter expert for enterprise and business unit level organizational transformation and operational improvement.? With nearly 30 years of consulting and industry experience, he focuses on developing and improving business strategies, business processes, organizational models, and organizational performance management systems while simultaneously supporting the organizations' leaders and staffs with results-focused change management strategies and tools.?

Mr. Phillips has lead projects for the Department of Health and Human Service's Hospital Mortgage Insurance Program, the Surgeons General of the Army and Navy, and the Veterans Health Administration, and he has developed quality and performance strategies for clinical processes at Department of Defense hospitals.

Prior to Atlas Research, Mr. Phillips was president of his own consulting firm and provided business process reengineering (BPR), acquisition, procurement, supply chain, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) consulting to a variety of public and private sector clients in the health, biotechnology, automotive, and defense sectors.? Before that, he was a principal on the strategy and organization team at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he lead BPR, lean six sigma, change management, quality improvement, and organizational transformation projects for federal civil and defense clients over a fifteen-year career.

He has also held senior consulting positions at SAIC and RWD Technologies, where he lead a variety of operational improvement projects for the DoE and for commercial clients in the automotive, consumer products, electronics, and energy industries.? He also had a six-year career with General Motors, serving in a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and marketing positions.? For Atlas Research clients, Mr. Phillips taps this broad private and public sector experience to bring best practice solutions to clients' most complex and pressing problems.

Mr. Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Technology from Western Carolina University and a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Management from the General Motors Engineering and Manufacturing Institute/Kettering University.??
