“PUERTO PUNTA CALDERA” • The contruction of the Punta Caldera Port is projected to start by mid 2011, with the objective to load 4 million tons and unload 2,5 mt/year for 2014. • There are many middle size minning companys that need a public port in the region, up to this moment all of them are private or their capacity is full.

OBJETIVeS.
•Become the main port of liquid and solid bulks of Atacama region for a world-wide market. •Stage 1: •load Iron ore and other minerals and unload Coal •Generate the contracts that allow to develop to the projects for loading and unloading of liquid bulks H2SO4, Petroleum and Biodiesel. Stage 2: • Consolidate contracts and increase the volumes of liquid and solid bulks.
