When I am painting, I challenge myself to explore the multiple paths of colors and shapes incorporating dots to fill and delineate textures. Predominantly my artwork combines vibrant colors establishing a surreal interpretation of the subject leading the eyes to the open door of the imagination. My pointillism work can take up to 6 months to be completed, each dot is completely handmade free style on canvas o wood.

Architect, born in Colombia, currently resides in Argentina. My work is a continuous search for volume through the potential of a single material, which with a sequence of cuts and folds acquires an elevation, leaving behind the plane and its two-dimensional condition. The pieces are digitally started in a vector software where I capture the abstractions that I want to create to later be printed on a 300 gram thick paper and carry out the manual technique. My exploration focuses on the capacity and what can become an element far from all prejudice, referring to the process that human beings sometimes do when we liberate the being from the duties and limitations imposed by something alien to it.
